Yes. Even though porn has never done much for me personally I know a lot of guys who do like it. They are normal guys and watching it has not turned them into sexual deviants, it just fills a need for them. They have fun, the people in the movies have fun... or at least are paid well for pretending to have fun.

So really, as long as it only ever involves consenting adults, why should I care?

If porn were to be stopped I would demand that all forms of fictional media be stopped. Books, television, movies, etc. It lets men live their fantasies vicariously through some ugly man on the screen. For others, it fulfills their voyeuristic tendancies and keeps them off the street. Not to mention it's one of the largest industries in this country.

And was this porn that you rented hardcore of softcore? There's a very large difference.

To clarify, the folks in softcore porn can be having sex, or can appear to be. It's the inclusion of the sex organs that seperates the two groups.

Softcore: You see boobies, bouncing, and grinding.

Hardcore: You see the penis and EVERY hole the penis penetrates, even during penetration.

it was called "Behind closed doors"

and i still dont know which it was... it had a lot of sex senes, the first one was 3 minets into it, and there after 4-5 minets of suggestive dialog.. I dident see any pieces or parts of men, but plenty of women.

Background story:
I was in Blockbusterwith my boyfriend looking for a movie to rent. My boyfriend tried to warn me, but i didn't listen to him and rented it anyway.

Whoops! Well, at least I can cross watching a pornographic film off of the list of things I want to do before I die.

So, this left me thinking: why the heck would anyone want to listen to and watch such bad acting and scripting? To watch some flimsy sex scenes?

I got it. You can correct me if this is wrong:

Real women take work to get and to keep. Normally, men chase women, spending years and a lot of money wooing them. After that you have kids and then the woman gets complicated. But in the fantasy of the porn the woman chases the man, almost immediately having oodles of sex with him, with almost no repercussions.


Basically, what I think is this: men don’t always want to go through the steps to get a girl, and would rather take the easy way out, which, in this case, would be watching pornography. This is because they're lazy and/or don’t want to wait.</font>


I took you at your word about correcting you. I apologize that my profession has apparently failed you in the ability to do that for yourself. I'll try harder.

Wrong. If someone finds the images shown in the porn to be erotic, they will be aroused. The arousal process is the "sexual emotion chemical" release.

You realize "stupid hormone" reactions are what enabled you to learn that eating food was good, drinking water was good, and that touching something hot was bad, right? Nearly everything you do is done to trigger the reward center of your brain.

and Obi_Kwiet, even if you can stimulate endorphine production (which is actually relatively easy, any food with complex carbohydrates such as brown rice will do this) to give you the pleasurable buzz that sex (and other things) give you, you'd still have to inhibit testosterone production to get rid of the urges. I think it's pretty safe to say that inhibiting testosterone production is NOT something you want to do to any prepubescent male if you want him to have any chance of developing properly.
