You can do it now with Sold State Drives I believe. Except the cost of doing that now would be astronomical.

and quoting me serves no purpose there...

the only thing left for universal and paramount to do is announce their specific plans for the switch (release dates, will currently announced hd dvd releases still be released (looking at you paramount) will universal just drop that *** ugly shiny swoosh from the front cover or make a whole new possibly uglier and more intrusive swoosh graphic for bluray)
