I keep an ax/machete behind the seat of my truck sometimes. Mostly just when I'm going out into the woods and theres a possibility of a downed tree.

All I have in my car is an engine, transmission, brakes, gas, copper, vinyl, leather, jumper cables, lubricants, and from time to time a human being or three.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

I keep a wire clotheshanger between the bed and cab of my truck. This way if I lose my key I can get back in.

I can also start my truck with anything I want, key be damned.

I have 2 keys on 2 separate keyrings, 1 is my car keyring that has my gas cap key and my car key, the other is my house keyring that has everything else, AND a spare car key. That way I can't lock my keys in my car. And if I did, I know of at least 2 other ways to get into my car. These are all from lessons learned the hard way.

I just wet shaved off a week's beard with a blunt razor and the very dregs of my can of shaving foam because I've just been informed we're going out tonight, so I had to shave BEFORE we go shopping tomorrow when I would have picked up supplies.

That bloody hurt.
