Yes, I've used it, but it's not really my thing.

I never have, but I still support it not being illegal.

Imagine looking up at a black sky with no stars and seeing stars.

That is basically me once every two months or so.

So yes, I occasionally get high as ****

all day urr day

And its illegality is pretty much a farce and a money sink for the government. Though, to be fair, you also have to be pretty retarded to get caught.

Not my sort of poison, but I don't think its bad compared to other crap out there. I'm pretty sure I got a decent amount at the concert tonight though hah.

That would have been funny if you had admitted to smoking pot, JLee.
Looks like we're not going down after all, so nevermind.

No.

Partially because I wouldn't know where to get it, partially because one of my friends reckons I'd commit suicide if I had some, partially because I can't really be arsed in any case but mostly because I don't really want to.
Hey, Blue? I'm loving the things you do. From the very first time, the fight you fight for will always be mine.

I was high only once in my life, and much like being drunk, I didn't find it worthwhile enough to persue greater feelings.

I used to smoke and use other illicit drugs. I have however reformed and now disavow their usage by anyone. Drugs are bad, mmkay?

Never have, never want to. Just not my thing. I do support the legalization of it...though I still wouldn't allow it in my house.

It's not necessarily a disqualifier for police work- but cocaine, meth, LSD, etc. are bad juju.

I've never even touched the stuff. I don't get the draw. But like Anovis I think it should be legal.

You just went up a notch in my book. Before I had ever done it (first time was this year, so I went 22 years without) I was always of the "I don't do it but it should be legal" mentality. It's encouraging to see people have tolerance for others and not just condemn everything they don't personally enjoy.

Agreed. You should at least try it, though. It's a lot more fun than you might think. You just have to be a good person.

I'm all for social freedom, but there's more dimensions to the issue than that. There's logic: why ban a drug that's less dangerous than alcohol?
There's economics: legalizing marijuana would create a whole big legal market, AND we'd free up all the money spent on incarcerating people who have it. Fewer prisons, fewer cops, fewer patrol cars, more people in the workforce, more money.

I've smoked a couple of times, but I've never been high as ****.

Nothing beats topping off a Friday/Saturday night by getting absolutely rinsed.

I love weed, and I don't see myself giving it up any time soon. My net consumption is extremely low - an 1/8 will last me a good 2-3 weekends easily (if doing bong rips).

My friends have started running poppers constantly now, and as a non-smoker those just destroy me. The added high from the nicotine is extremely pleasurable, but the 10-20 seconds of insane nausea make popper hits a force to be reckoned with... def a once in a while thing that every smoker should try at least once
2008-08-19, 7:14 PM #36
I've smoked like three times, never got high, not worth the time and potential risk. Support its legalisation, however.

I never get too high off just smoking, but I've always gotten high as **** off of pot brownies. They're great, but kind of disabling if you don't know what's coming.

How are you being a good person by breaking the law? regardless of whether smoking pot is right or wrong morally, its still illegal (assumably... I don't know what the laws are these days about perscriptions and whatnot).
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.
