Updated. Sorry mb, when you are sucked down into the vortex, you don't come back out. If it's any comfort, you have been transported to an alternative universe. So you are probably dead. Probably.


Backlog:

Freelancer travels to (0,-7) and dons a construction helmet.
Freelancer begins construction on his fortress.

JM travels to (5,5) and dons a construction helmet.
JM begins construction on the first Proton Cannon.

Steven erects a flag and declares sovereignty on nearby region of the grid.
Steven dons the dictator hat of his nation and is ready to begin the long and hard work of starting a new empire.

dalf drives his MURDER VAN right up to Latis.
Latis is now in danger.

Baconfish and Wookie still require medical attention.
No new Roblings have spawned this update.
The region is suspiciously quiet.

Echo travels to (-11, 2).

The move of fishstickz to (-12,-12) has been approved by the votes of 2 members (Baconfish and Ford).
fishstickz will be moved to the corner next update.
fishstickz has objected to this move.
One more vote is required to settle the dispute and move fishstickz to (-12,-12), otherwise he will run free.

Eh, nevermind the previous idea then.

I'll just take whatever time is required to develop high-end explosives to strap to myself, then possibly wander aimlessly and randomly (at Echo's discretion). Should I be killed, I'll detonate and destroy everything within a 5-point radius.

I just don't want to be bumped off without something happening, is all.

I just realized that photon cannons do not function if not within the range of a pylon. However, since it is impossible to build a photon cannon outside the range of a pylon, and thus no photon cannon can exist outside the range of a pylon unless the pylon it was built within the range of was destroyed, and as no pylons have been destroyed, I deduce that there is in fact a pylon at 6,6 that we just didn't notice.

When I'm placed on the map I will construct a base to train soldiers. I will then send them to rescue Baconfish and Wookiee from the Roblings. They will be armed with M4s and Uzis. They will also bring cookies with them.

Updated! Check first post for much new news. Sorry, I was away for Thanksgiving.

And you were right JM, there was something hidden at (6,6). Unfortunately, it was not exactly a Pylon. It was a generic brand version of one titled "Useful Crystal Object." It is cheaper than Pylon but can't warp things in. It will provide power to your Photon Cannons, but you have to "plug" them in. Instead of a blue glow, it emits a yellowish-brown color.



backlog: JM has completed the construction of his first Proton Cannon.
JM's Photon Cannon requires a power source. The cannon is now offline.
JM should consider building a power source. Perhaps talk to Vegie.
JM moves to construct his second cannon.

Steven has received a complimentary "Welcome to Dictatorship" package air-shipped from Cuba by Castro.
Inside the package includes:
-One AK47.
-Ammo for AK47.
-Cuban cigars.
-Barb wire for territorial control.
-A note personally written by Castro stating: "Hello Mister Steven. Good luck on your rise toward power. If you need anything, ask your friends in Havana! Please respond. Sincerely, Fidel."

Steven is now armed with a weapon.

Freelancer has put on a custom-made tin-foil helmet.
Freelancer is continuing construction on his fortress.

dalf has drove up to Latis in his MURDER VAN.
Latis has "disappeared."

NoESC has spawned at (-12,8)
NoESC is building his cannon.

Baconfish and Wookie still require medical attention.

You aren't training anyone. You can't build a training base where JM has his Photon Cannons.

Place MacFarlane at (-3, 3), who I also welcome at my fortress.

For my next update, I shall begin construction of Steven's sovern bunker, annexed to my fortress in an easterly direction. I use 25 of my manservants do build that. I use 25 of my manservants to begin construction on the secret, underground tunnel to Steven's Eastern Fortress. And I post 25 of my manservants as guards. The other 25 create gardens north of my fortress because we're hungry.

I grant kyle90 15 of my women as his lab assistants and "helpers."

I begin a regimen to train the remaining 35 women as superninjas.
