Ok well I thought I'd try and let this thread die since it's not an issue anymore, but since you're all trying to pin me as an idiot I may as well comment.

They've only started smoking weed this year, hence it being a new problem. Beforehand they maybe only had one smoke of it every second month. I knew they were regular smokers, but they assured me that they wouldn't smoke (anything) in the house. Perhaps you are calling me an idiot for trusting what my friends say. Perhaps you're calling me an idiot for moving in with people who have different habits to myself. Or perhaps you're the idiot. (For not observing the fact that despite their bad habits, we came a compromise and that they still are, afterall, my friends.)

I'm presuming that half the trolls in this thread regularly smoke weed, hence their defensive stance.

Would you mind explaining how the simple act of smoking, can cause that much damage to a home? I mean, I know you were probably considering in the event of a fire and such due to careless smoking, but that's because people are retarded, not from committing the act of smoking something.

Well the smoke can stain the walls and ceilings and I guess if you do it enough eventually they might need replacing to get the smell away.

Any decent paint will seal a stain and an associated smell. Painting does not cost a lot of money if you do it yourself, it's just time consuming.

Ah, that makes a bit more sense, although I can't totally 100% agree still, regardless of when or where they smoke the Marijuana, that taking the medal from someone because they smoke a bong or joint due to it being a "performance enhancing drug", is just ridiculous.

The only performance it enhances is sexual pleasure and taste, and even then it can start to affect it negatively (i.e smoking to much, being "overly" high, becoming accustomed to sexing it up while high, etc).
