I for one find it hilarious that women fought for years for "equality" and all that jazz, yet they still want some things to be retained in the old mentality. Obviously it's not right to hit a woman, but it's equally not right to hit a man. Doesn't matter if you have a sausage dangling between your legs or a split up the middle of you, you have no right to hit another human being. Period.

However, when someone hits you, IMO it doesn't matter what sex they are. They've crossed the line and they need to be taught a lesson. Guy or girl, you hit me, you're getting hit right back. Regardless of the circumstances. There is absolutely no excuse for it no matter who you think you are. As it's been said, NOBODY is above a beat down.

So, if a girl punches you in the shoulder jokingly, are you one of those people who will punch her in the face right back? :nonono:
DO NOT WANT.

While I understand your reasoning, I would argue that rarely does anyone deserve to be hit back. If you can evade the situation without escalation, that's a far better resolution to the conflict than force.

If it comes down to life or death, you're backed into a corner and force is the only way out, then okay. Male or female, fight to defend yourself.

No, but I just might punch her right back just as jokingly in the shoulder, depending. I don't want to hear any of that "but I'm a girl and you're a guy, you're stronger" crap. Don't punch me then, retard.

I agree completely. But there are people and situations as well, that unfortunately, demand being put in their place.

As long as there is a difference in mindset between "beating the other person" and "finishing the fight."

Finishing the fight means when you have the opportunity to stop safely, you take it. Beating them is excessive force and is never necessary.

I find this thread to be funny.

People are "not interested/don't care" about the topic, yet it is already at page 2.

That's mostly because now it's more about the ethics of hitting a woman. No one really cares about Rihanna and Chris Brown.

I think if a woman of equal of equal strength hit me, I'd probably fight back. The thing is, there are very few women that are stronger than an average guy.

If some guy my age starts a fight with me, and I think I have a chance at taking him, I'll hit him no problem. But if some 13 year old attacks me, I might slap him or something to get him to stop, but I'm not going to inflict any kind of severe damage on someone that is significantly weaker than me.

That's why it's unacceptable to hit women IMO. In almost every case, the guy is stronger and tougher.. it's not fair.

See, here's where I'm disturbed. Chris Brown wasn't wrong because he hit a woman; he was wrong because he thought that violence was an acceptable way to handle a relationship. Why did a post about one lead to a discussion about the other?

Perhaps I wasn't clear. What I meant was that this thread is about how it's not right to hit a woman (or anyone for that matter) and yet some massassians think its ok.

As much as I'm for gender equality, there are certain things that men genetically predisposed to be better at, just like there are some things that women are genetically predisposed to be superior.

I think its doctored, thats Jay Cutler (not the NFL player) and he was never that big at any point in his career.

That picture always reminds me of powerthirst.

But since we were talking about street fighter in another thread, I think it would be accurate to say thats what a man would look like if SF muscle mass was implemented in real life.

I'd have thought forearms got bigger too. Mine certainly have gotten bigger since I started weight lifting. I guess they can only grow so much, compared to the biceps and triceps.

It's called "Equality". And the last time I checked, it was the women who were fighting for it. Bottom line- You just don't hit another person unless it's in self defense. If you don't want to get hit back, don't do it.

The forearms are a completely different muscle from the biceps and triceps. There is no way that you can effectively work them out without actually doing exercises that work your forearm muscles specifically. However, doing bicep and tricep curls involve some movement that affects your forearm muscles by the movement of the exercise itself, which is why your muscles in your forearms get bigger but only to a certain point, because you aren't working them specifically, but rather "just on the side".

like I said - I have no problem with a guy fighting back if a woman comes at him swinging, I just think it's wrong for a man to instigate a physical fight with a woman

I believe its called assault.
