I'd say maybe just over 30 seconds of dick on screen, if that. They were very brief.

There was a lot more than 30 seconds off dong on screen.

But there were more than enough titties and *** to balance it out.

All in all, it was nice to finally see a comic book movie that didn't blow more *** than duct taping a leaf blower to my rectum. The action scenes were BRUTAL and awesome. None of that bull**** shakey cam you can't really see the action Batman bull****.

I might see it again if it wasn't almost three hours long.

Why were you looking at his junk? He was almost always on screen with a female, or there was something else going on above waist level.

Yea, I agree with sugar, I didn't really notice it because it blended in with his body.
Either that or I need new contacts.

Oh I dunno, isn't a bit hard to not notice someones dick when they have many full front and naked shots of them on a screen which takes up the majority of your view.

As for Rob: Well, I guess that actually makes sense. But I wanted to see more titties :P

I guess I am going overboard on the blue dick thing, but then again, I know this isn't a movie I will be able to buy and bring home because of this and the sex stuff. My parents just won't let me. Good thing I'm planning on moving out in some months.
Nothing to see here, move along.

Reviewers and people like Gold need to grow the hell up. Who cares if he has a dick - I'm pretty sure I and a lot of other dudes in the world have dicks too and it doesn't bother us.

also, never read the novel and the story made perfect sense. Movie = awesome

Yeah... seriously, if the dick is taking up the majority of your view then it's only because you are staring directly at it. At no point in the movie is his dick focused on, so if you find yourself drawn towards the penis, then don't take it out on the movie.

I'm sorry, I don't exactly like watching nude men. Thats why its uncomfortable. But oh well, I'm immature, because some one on the internet said so.

No, you're immature because you're immature. Internet commentary has nothing to do with it, even when it is pretty much everyone saying so.
But hey, keep up with the exaggerations and over-defensiveness, that's sure to make you look more mature ;)

It wasn't JUST directed at you - it was also at people in general who have some weird inherent fear of seeing normal parts of the human body.

I liked the fight scene in the beginning.
no complicated kung fu, just punching and common sense

also did you notice that the white guys and asian guys died differently in the movie?
white guys would like fall backwards but asians would like twirl around in a fashionable manner as they died or passed out

and that scene kirby mentioned about jon killing the nams
i'd expect to see that kind of parody on youtube

all i wanted was a darker watchmen and a squid ending
the music made it too happy-go-luckish on some scenes

also, couldn't they have hired that nixon from frost/nixon?
would've been cooler (and if anyone is concerned about age of nixon-make up)

Changing topics a little bit, I just realized something I wanted to ask:

Did anyone dislike the comedian as the person who shot kennedy? I know he's an evil guy and everything, but what "american/saving the world" motive could possibly warrant him, a "superhero," shooting the president.

I thought that was change in the story/book/whatever that a poor choice for Zack Snyder to have made. Especially for newer viewers. I thought the story showed him doing bad enough things as is, it didn't need him becoming like a worldwide fugitive.

I dislike the humoring of conspiracy theorists, but it made sense if we let that go. He was described as having spent the late 70s and 80s as knocking over Marxist republics in South America (CIA hobby), and since all the conspiracy theorists talk of the CIA killing him off, it fits as far as I see.

The movie made perfect sense, I would suspect the intelligence of anyone who left that movie confused.

I live on Staten Island, so that may have been it. Like I said, I followed it fine. I just wondered if I was following it because I already knew the plot and was just trying to pick out and enjoy what comic scene was being depicted, rather than paying attention to continuity.

They didn't show a scene, but he implied it at the party before meeting a young Specter outside. It's really astonishing in the book because you realize they throw it away. Yeah, it could've been a big deal, but it's just a throw away line to show how big of a badass he is.

Why are so many people complaining about Dr. Manhattan's penis? The camera never really zoomed up on it and it was blocked most of the time by other characters on screen.

because its a penis, and penises are evil, and boobies are awesome.

It was vaguely implied, and did not say it with any certainty. They said he was in Texas on the day that Kennedy was shot, but not that he was the actual assassin, while the movie said it for sure. It was a liberty taken by Snyder.

I think one time he did this 10 page rant about how homosexuality was a sickness. Then he was complaining that his dad was sick in another thread.

So I kept asking him if his dad was gay. It was p.funny.

Just got back from seeing it now,

I've never read the book and I absolutely loved it. I did a bit of reading up of just the characters beforehand on wiki, trying to skip possible spoilers and such but went into the movie with what I guess was a pretty good clue of the story and plot but nothing concrete.

Rorschach I feel was done absolutely spot on and even if he wasn't, for me he was the linchpin of the movie.

For some reason I was expecting a little more respective from niteowl, Ozymandias and Silk after the ending but like I said, I've never read the novel so I don't know if it is in there or not, maybe the leaving it open for us to think about is the point.

The whole "penis" issue is just stupid, if it bothers you grow up, if reviewers are moaning about it they need a kick in the balls or whatever, it's really a none issue. If Dr. Manhattan had been a women I doubt there would be half as many complaints, just a bunch of women rights people calling the movie sexiest or something and all the male reviewers going, "yeah Dr. Manhattan was hot" or some **** like that.

I loved the movie, it gives more than any other superhero movie I've seen, the Dark Knight, which people hold in such high regard, is a damn good movie no doubt, but I don't find myself thinking about it as much as the Watchmen. The moral standing of the Dark Knight is handed to you on a platter and shoved in your face, with the Watchmen it is more like you are at a buffet and every time you reach for something you notice something else you'd like instead.

Looking at the choice Ozymandias made from a distance, the argument of "the means justify the end" is understandable and anyone in their sane mind should make the same choice. But for me that is not how you should make the choice, the question we are posed and asked to question ourselves is what if we were heroes, the people trying to make a difference whatever way we can, the ones for who each innocent life saved is paramount above all else.

Rorschach for all his instability and apparent insanity was routed to the cause of saving the innocent and punishing the bad more than any of the others.

Damn I could go on with stuff I loved about this film but I'll stop as I'm just rabbling now.
People of our generation should not be subjected to mornings.
