No, I work for the UK publisher so we only reprint the actual graphic novel, but we did do everything for the tie-in books like Watching The Watchmen and all the movie ones

Overall I thought the movie was good ( haven't read the comic). However, it was a bit too long. I know they had to cut things out anyway, but for the material they chose to present the experience would have been better had the movie been shorter.

I also agree that some of the musical choices detracted from the movie. Ride of the Valkyries seemed like a forced reference, and that scene could have been better without it. Sound of Silence also didn't fit and was distracting. The worst offender, though, was 99 Luftballoons. That didn't work at all, and I actually started laughing as it played.

That said, I enjoyed the movie and would watch it again. I also will look into reading the comic.

I just can't believe all these music complaints, I thought they did brilliantly with that. All the music was fitting for the time period and fitting for the distorted moods of the movie.

Anyone know what kind of suit Dr. Manhattan wore? He looked like a million bucks.

Edit: In b4 birthday suit.

You know there is an extended Vietnam scene from the movie where Dr. M takes off that underwear and let's his chain hang low and just penis-slaps the Vietnam into submission

I'm not saying it was all or even mostly bad. For instance, the sequence at the beginning with the Dylan song worked very nicely, as did Koyaanisqatsi (though the latter I hadn't heard of before seeing the movie). There were just a few really ugly points.
