Why the 4th Twilight book has to be a movie

One of the things I couldn't help wondering about was, well, the physical part of Edward and Bella's soon-to-be relationship. He's dead. No blood circulation. So... She probably would've been better off with the dog boy.

Haven't seen Weekend at Bernie's, no. As for Clerks, heh, thanks for reminding me of the last scenes of that movie. Wouldn't have ever been able to draw a parallel between that movie and Twilight myself. Anyway, good point, I digress. :D

It wasn't an opinion. :colbert:

I think Twilight probably takes certain elements that girls find most attractive in a relationship and the blows them so out of proportion that it seems absurd to anyone else. In other words, it's basically porn for women.

My friend loves Twilight...my only hope to save him is to let him borrow season one of True Blood.

true blood is more like the porn part. i mean its an awesome show and the acting isnt **** unlike most of the people from twilight.

On a slightly less related note, Zombieland is awesome, and everyone should watch it.

No, it takes what pre-teen and teenage girls find most attractive and blows them out of proportion into [what is a disturbingly unhealthy role model] relationship. Any women who are older than 16 who are crazy about them just haven't graduated from wanting to be the center of someone's world, and be the only one to understand the dreamy angst-bucket.

Basically it appeals to traditionally less mature desires.

(Zombieland is pretty awesome)

Apparently the 4th movie is pretty close to being greenlit already.

Fun fact - All of the novels are rife with grammatical errors, and read like they were written by someone in a high school english class. :P

And not a good english class.
nope.

Even if she were terrible with grammar, that's why they have people called editors.

Well I have seen some errors get by in books, but one would think that if the books are as high profile as they are, they would fix that in reprints and later editions so that it doesn't reflect badly on the publishing house.

I believe I read somewhere that they have people who are supposed to sort out the grammar, they call them 'authors'. An editor (even a really good one) can only do so much.
