The Tea Partiers are capitalists, though; this guy was anti-capitalist and possibly pro-communist.

Jesus Jones.

This guy was politcally incoherent. That alone makes him more like most Tea Partiers than unlike them.

That's a really tenuous link. Kind of worthless to point out, anyway. Pretty much entirely overshadowed by the dissimilarity between the two entities, namely that tea partiers so far have a very good record of NOT slamming planes into buildings. One of a slowly but surely shrinking number of groups of people who have not yet done so.

I think you've missed my point.

My point is that saying "he's maybe an anti-capitalist and therefore not a Tea Partier" is nonsense because even Tea Partiers don't know what Tea Partiers believe in.

Also yeah, most tea partiers I've met are just, "WAAAHHAHAAAA TAXES WAAAA" with no direction whatsoever.

I was aware that that was what you intended, I was just pointing out that you're creating an argument where there really doesn't need to be one.

Other interesting sidegames could include how long it will take Obama to blame Bush for this or how long it will take MSNBC to blame the Tea Party.

You were right.

The guy that wrote the article (Capeheart) that you posted isn't Obama (although he is black) & "The Washington Post" isn't "MSNBC". He also didn't say anything controversial. There are indeed extreme elements within the "Tea Party movement" & many of them have publicly stated their feelings of alienation & helplessness. My brother & father, who are both tea-baggers, are both right-wing extremists that are looking forward to both the 2nd coming & a new American revolution. I would be surprised if this guy turns out to be a tea-bagger, especially after reading his comments in his letter on the Bush administration, capitalism & the healthcare industry. That doesn't mean that he can't have some of the same feelings that tea-baggers express.

Seems to me that it would be more likely that this guy was a fervent bHo supporter like that nutjob professor.

He's probably referring to their obsession with him being educated in a Madrassa. That Steve Doocey retard insinuated as much on at least one occasion. Didn't he used to be a weatherman? He should probably stick to that & let the big boys do the news. It's also fairly obvious why they constantly stressed "Hussein" when saying his name.

That's a very small percentage of the Tea Parties.

Apparently somewhere in that clip that shows many snippets of various stories without ever once showing what the point was. Of course, though, it was produced about three years ago by an anti-Foxnews group.

But I'm actually waiting to see if the bHo administration starts using the terrorist label to describe the insane white guy or if they'll stick to their "man-made disaster" mantra.

And why did you say bHo?

Is there any way in hell you are not completely trolling?

Because when I innocently used [the initials which now are automatically replaced on the forum with "BHO"] all the time I was constantly challenged for why I was putting the H in there. I figure, duh, it's his initials but since all you libs think I have ulterior motives I just give you what you assume I mean. Limbaugh has never called him bHo in any form to my knowledge.

Oh, here is something else "witty" for the staff to consider. Instead of letting people post GWB to emphasize Bush's middle initial, you could have the forum automatically replace it with "Gulf War Blunder".

He does it because he wasn't allowed to say BHO without a bolded letter. People complained and said "he's emphasizing Hussein" when it's just an abbreviation.

On other forums, I've seen Barack Obama referred to as BHO (no bolded letter) and George Bush (43) referred to as W without anyone getting upset.

Well... Bush was actually known as George W. Bush to differentiate himself from his father. There's a slight difference.

I don't remember anyone referring to Bill Clinton as WJC, do you? Nobody called Nixon RMN did they? That sort of thing is only done when the middle initial is already emphasized as in the case of John F. Kennedy or George W. Bush. Saying BHO is emphasizing his middle name as Hussein, whether you like it or not.

No it's not.

Why should John Kennedy and George Bush (43) get abbreviations, but not other Presidents?
2010-02-19, 11:01 PM #69
Because that's the name they choose to go by. They chose to emphasize their middle initial for differentiation purposes regarding relatives.

Because the media decided that it worked, WJC doesn't quite roll off the tongue, JFK does.
I have never heard of George W Bush referred to as GWB, always Bush.
Wait what Antony says makes far more sense.
2010-02-19, 11:05 PM #71
The only reason JFK sounds better to you is because you've heard it so many times. It's called a familiarity heuristic.

Sorry, I only skimmed it but I didn't see anything about bHo. I listen to him practically everyday. He might have mentioned it once or twice. I seem to remember him saying something but it was never any sort of major point. He usually refers to him by name or sometimes Barry. You know, it is pretty funny that the president can galavant all across the world joyfully referring to himself by his fullname but as soon as I use his initials for the sake of brevity it's all because I'm trying to point out his international and muslim heritage. Using his full name in the same manner he does when he is pointing out his international and muslim heritage would make far more sense if that was my goal.
