Why would I tell him something he already knows?

Maybe because he would disagree with you.

I bet Rush Limbaugh wrote that!

Oh, well played. I suppose I have to admit that this makes you look less like an idiot and more like someone who's just peppering his posts with random terms from the HHS Web site.

Sorry, I only skimmed it but I didn't see anything about bHo.

Of course you didn't. You'd have had to click the first link and listen to the audio for all of 15 seconds.

You know, it is pretty funny that the president can galavant all across the world joyfully referring to himself by his fullname but as soon as I use his initials for the sake of brevity it's all because I'm trying to point out his international and muslim heritage. Using his full name in the same manner he does when he is pointing out his international and muslim heritage would make far more sense if that was my goal.

Why yes, it is funny that people who do similar things are often trying to achieve similar results.

I wanted to highlight this, because obviously typing those bold tags every time is really saving you time.

Like I said, I've heard him refer to him, gasp, by name but I think it is rare he uses initials. Now I'm confused, I thought I was the bad one for using his, gasp, initials. I don't use his name so I'm not drawing attention to anything. Or at least I wasn't until some dweeb decided his intitials should stand for "basset hound orphans". Oh, this could be fun. gHwb.

I already explained that I only do that now to ensure that I post in a manner consistent with the opinions people like you have formed by my racist use of the initials currently known as "basset hound orphans". I'm also pretty sure I have used the initials that should be known as "Gulf War Blunder" here in the past.

Hey, I don't want to get blamed for derailing this thread. I did what I always do and refered to the president by his initials although now when I do it I have to make fun of many of you since his real initials are deemed so offensive that they must be censored. Wow, and I'm the racist.

Hey remember that time I explained to you why certain politicians use their middle initial in their name and you completely ignored it?

No one referred to George Bush as George H.W. Bush until George W. Bush was a prominent politician as well. It's generally used for differentiation purposes only.

Wookie was saying that he usually refers to Presidents by their initials, and it's no different between George Bush and Barack Obama.

Ah, that also explains why he calls Al Gore Algore, which is a nickname coined by Rush Limbuagh to draw comparison to Igor.

I always wondered where that one came from.

I was quite upfront about that one. Besides, I generally don't refer to the president by his full name or Barry, although I might start calling him Barry if there is enough outrage, so my using the initials currently known as "BHO" has nothing to do with the Honorable Mr. Limbaugh.

Please, now, can we get back on the topic of Tea Partiers flying airplanes into federal buildings?

I know. I love being a troll by actually using, gasp, his name or initials! It's :awesome:!

It should be pretty harmless unless you're a suicidal little girl that can't tolerate things on the internet you infer offense from.

And I did want to point out that I was the one that rapidly linked to the Wikipedia article on the jargon of the Rush Limbaugh Show when asked why I called him that. If you're quick you can probably go add bHo to it as well.

Limbaugh has never called him basset hound orphans in any form to my knowledge.

He might have mentioned it once or twice. I seem to remember him saying something but it was never any sort of major point.

This is why people say that you're a Troll. I'm not saying that you are (you'll at least attempt to put forth a little substance when pressed) but you're at least moving the goal post.
? :)

Well, he never refers to him by inititials but I have a vague recollection of a telephone call where the topic came up. I'm really not sure but it is possible that the topic was discussed. I do think it was really tacky for the previous administration to remove all the "H"s from all the White House keyboards on the way out, though.

I have a question here.

Why are you all arguing about letters?

Is this really the new form of insult on this forum from the dullards who insist on posting garbage? You're a girl. You have no penis. You're fat, etc...

I mean, I understand when your ideas are flawed it's really hard to manage a debate, but grasping at thin air for vindication is just sad.

Actually, it was sort of a rhetorical "you". You know, like in casual conversation where you use the word "you" to denote some unknown or unnamed entity such as the way it was used in this sentence?

His father was of the Islam religion. They are not from the Middle-East at all. I don't know, I don't consider that "heritage." Heritage to me implies genetics. Also, his father became an atheist later in life anyway.
