So because I was on duty on Saturday, my weekend was pretty shot... But I found a loophole.

Couldn't drink Friday night, cause I had to get up early for duty on Saturday.
Couldn't drink Saturday night, cause I was ON duty.
Can't drink Sunday night, cause I gotta work on Monday...

Solution:

Drink Sunday morning. By the time we have to work by monday, we'll have slept off our hangovers. :D We're about to grill up some SMOREZ. :D
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

Are you kidding? Do you have any idea how badly you really have to screw up to get in trouble with the army? There's a reason they're considered to be retards and screwups by the rest of the services.

Oh no I'm fine with defense, it's just that a defence force existing doesn't mean that people are being constantly defended. It means that theres a capacity for defense if needed. :P

Actually, Baconfish, a defense force existing means exactly that people are being constantly defended. It's called a deterrent. Are you more likely to start some **** if you know you'll have 205,000 badass mother****ers after you? Yes, I think so.

Congratulations! I think the Marines are BadAss, and definetly a good fighter, but I assume that you are really in for a challenge. Are you really up to this? and for the last remark, Im not pissed of about that all. I was only thinking it was kind of :huh:, but no real insult taken. Im used to people teasing me about the Army. They are all doing a good job. I just dont like what politicians is doing to our servicemembers, they SUCK!

Cool dude. The route that I should have taken, an Officer ranking career is the way to go if you go into the military. If was I an officer instead of a junior NCO (corporal) in the Army, I would of been retired at a young age by now, but I got burned out in army life, I made the wrong choices in my military career and I wish that I would of stuck it out for a few more years, but I have seen alot of guys wash out in the military. I stayed with it for 4 years, and if I had to to do it again, I definitely would do it right now. But anyway hang in there dude, Boot camp is going to get interesting, but after you are trained, you will feel like the most powerful thing in the world, your pride will be golden and you can say Im proud to be a marine (or like I said for me being a soldier, lean, mean, killing machine) Good luck dude.

Thanks, man. I'm not really sure what I want to do with my career as an Officer yet, though. I'm considering combat command, but aviation seems really fun, too. I don't know. It's still about a year away, though, so we'll see.
