Wow. It's pretty awesome to see that Massassi is not only still going but still has the same design/layout/etc as it did 15 years ago.

I still occasionally think about your secret level in Dark Emperor 2, and how it felt like a really strange dream.

IT'S AKPIGGOTT! :O

Yeah, Goit, I'm doing this.

Man, am I glad to see you back. If you ever feel like reinstalling JK, I hope you can give TODOA a try. I mean, you're 50% of the reason why it even exists (the other 50% is SavageX)! Thus it'd mean a lot to me.

And bombing you with those permission questions back in 2001 would have finally paid off... kinda ;P

That wasn't him! That series was utter crap! The best thing about it was that secret level though, and that stupidly fast train.

Anyway...

Yeah, I think you need to play some of the more recent levels. I myself in my latest level episode tore your cog scripts apart to do my cutscenes. I like to think it's BoaM for JK :) you're even in the credits at the end. It would be an honour if you'd play my latest level. You'll appreciate the Tomb Raider rip offs, as I remember from TACC you were an avid fan of TR2.

Check out TODOA too, even though I hate FGR for plugging it every post :D, the arch is incredible in places. Makes LCC look blocky.

I think between me and FGR we kinda took JK to it's limit, puzzle and arch wise.

I've actually got JK and MotS installed after buying them on Steam a while back for sillymoney. So people are still making levels? That's awesome, I'll have to try some of the recent stuff.

Wish I could find what I had made on Enter the Dark Lord, it was the best thing I'd made yet and it would be great to get people to see what I was trying to do. Unfortunately, real life got in the way and I couldn't finish it.

Unfortunately, no. :( Haven't spoken to any of the ol' TACC crew in donkeys.

ALSO: How do I edit my siggie? It's wrong. My Xbox Live/PSN/Steam ID is now tone217, if anyone wants to add me. :)

You remember well. It's still the best TR game of the lot. Uncharted 1&2 however are TRES AWESOME.

308MB!?! That's mental for a JK level. I remember people moaning because BoaM was 17MB. Ah, the days of dial-up....

If I can find the files, sure. It was 80-90% complete anyway!

Shame that JA or JO editing didn't take off. Was there ever an editing community for The Force Unleashed? (probably stupid question)

Got them from a relatively old (2006-2009) LucasForums thread, the original link has already expired so I put them on my server (hopefully that's okay for you, otherwise I'll take it down).

You probably don't know if you've been away for a long time, that patches were introduced to get rid of the adjoin/thing limits. Would have been handy huh? You'll need those to play the recent levels you've missed out on. Party Crasher is still the best thing anyone made for JO/JA ha! Even if the end did consist of a Gran with a lightsaber.

Gah..... the thing limit and the adjoins!!! They were the two things that plagued BoaM. Chapters 2 and 3 were supposed to be one massive level. I had to cut chapter 2 short because I'd reached the limit of things (I actually had no idea there was a limit). The adjoins made that beginning bit where you float down to the academy on the flyie thing a HOM nightmare. I improved it a lot, but it was never perfect.

Well, 'least there wasn't a woman having a seizure, sliding out of a door, like in a certain level...

I have to ask how you planned to end ToaM. I remember you had screen shots of an underwater base, but because JO came out you stopped it.

Well, it wouldn't be that different now since the adjoin limit appears to be unremovable from MotS for some reason. :P

From what I remember the underwater base was a mecha-rancor production facility. You basically fight Boba Fett, Mohc and blow it to hell.

Tried to play TODOA earlier but my (Steam) copy of Jedi Knight doesn't seem to be compatible with the unofficial patch.

Played through BoaM instead, which was an interesting experience after all these years. The story is stupid and doesn't really make any sense to my adult mind. That last cutscene was pretty cool though (with the TIE Figters and the R2s). I'm actually amazed at how little I remember from it, I got stuck a few times....

DAK's voice acting is legendary. Hard to believe he was only 17/18 at the time!

Been playing TOADA and I'm really impressed, good work FGR! The presentation and the cutscenes are superbly done. It doesn't even look anything like JK, although it feels a lot like it (this isn't a bad thing).

But I'm stuck...

Jumped over the elevator shaft and have come to a large locked door on my right, another locked door at the end of a small corridor and a room which calls the elevator that I jumped over. Went down the shaft and all that was there was a dead body and a secret area. Been faffing about for about half an hour and can't work out where to go next.

You've got to blow up the wall directly opposite the room where you found the rocket launcher to proceed.

I'll admit that the gameplay is rather faltering at times... especially since I stubbornly and intentionally do anything to the parts that received most complaints during beta testing ( wrench , pipe over the shaft , that wall you have to blow up ). Hopefully you can get through the rest of the mod without facing any Individual Computer Specific bugs (as in, facing bugs that no one else or very very few have got).

For truly engaging and interesting gameplay you really should check out Magrucko Daines and the Dark Youth. And also the first one if you haven't tried that, even though personally I like the second one a lot more due to the more Star Warsish setting.

Cheers got to the cutscene with the Clonetrooper and then it crashed. Is that a common glitch?

Minor critique: I'm a big Vader fan and it doesn't feel right him using guns. This was something I could never address in Jedi Academy (i.e. there wasn't a way to stop him picking up and using rifles), but it's something that can be worked around very easily in JK/MotS.

And yep, I intend to check out Goit's levels right after I've finished TOADA. :)

Haven't heard 'bout that one before.

True, but I always expected people would do like I do and just use the saber exclusively. I took out sabering the walls after I killed myself too many times with that :P

It's crashing a lot now, I'm frequently hitting F9 so that I don't lose my progress. Also getting a lot of gibberish displayed at the top of the screen. If I remember, that was quite a common bug on a lot of older levels as well.

It's excellent stuff though, I'm really impressed with what you've squeezed out of a 14 year old game. Had I known JK would be heading this way, I probably would've stuck with it for a while longer.
