So what would be the age threshold in which people are mature, regardless the age difference?

Definitely not 18 from what I've seen in college. Is it 24 these days?

No, really. All girls are baffling. Take the ones in abusive relationships. They (yes, I'm generalizing. Get over it.) rationalize it by hoping things will change, that he only hits her because he loves her. There is no logic that can defend such a position.

Actually, they (as a rule) have abysmal self esteem and have been taught to think that they deserve whatever they get and that there is no way out.
