A channel I subscribe to on Youtube posted this video the other day, it's appropriate to the discussion

No offense but why did I waste 4 minutes of my life watching that? He could have just walked out and said "drivers are idiots" and that would have been a wrap. It provided 0 ways to help or resolve the situation, and in fact was so lacking in any useful information that I question why it was even mentioned.

it was so he could tell us that he's the best driver in the world

and that he "know[s] more about speeding than probably anyone in this country" and that "despite the incredible risks we took with our lives and the lives of the people we passed" we should listen to him prattle about how bad other drivers are.

My first Copfrontation

i have had several run-ins with law enforcement, mostly with CHP and for speeding. my favorite one was actually not traffic related though. when my band went on a short tour in texas we stayed one of the nights at our friends house with the other band we were touring with.
the drummer from the other band, the guy whos house we were at and i all stayed up drinking till it started getting light out. at around 6 in the morning we thought it would be a great idea to go to the Alamo (we were only about ten minutes away from it.) so we did. we stopped at a gas station on the way there to get some coffee, and on the way out of the mini mart two cops approach us and ask us stay where we are. turns out there had been a double homicide at the motel across the street and we almost perfectly matched the descriptions of the 3 suspects...

Murderer!
