I think that there are probably a lot of women that have masturbated but can easily go for long periods of time without doing so again (especially if they're with a man (or woman) that has an equal or greater sex drive). It's also typically a bit easier for a woman to partake in "social" sex due to the obvious reason that there's no shortage of men that'll **** anything with a pulse, thus giving them less of a need to masturbate.

I'm right there with you actually. I'm much more likely to remember I have a sex drive if I'm involved, but I also am pretty cognizant that not uncommonly my lust/arousal/random fantasy may have absolutely nothing to do with x person (and in fact tend to think it can be unhealthy to try to make them so sometimes), so-- QEDoublelick.

Also, I don't instinctively see it as a message of dissatisfaction when I know that a partner masturbates when we aren't having sex.

I know lots of men (and women can be similar, I'm sure) that feel like if their partner needs to masturbate, they're doing something wrong, and can get almost as jealous as if they were being cheated on. I've never seen it that way, personally.

I can see that way of thinking/being. I can tell you, though, that having regular sex has reduced my masturbation habits. I think. Frankly, I've never kept track...

Also - Spook - I've seen/heard girls freak out about that, but that would probably be a little hypocritical of me, and many other girls I know
