It's 1280x1024, but only 140ish kb.. Yeah, it's a radiant shot, no I won't be able to take a shot of this area in-game for a bit yet, as it is still rough and very much open and shall not be ready for a few days, at least.

Yes this is the area I've been generally working on for some time now. No I dunno when the level will be released. (and I doubt anyone really cares at this point. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif]) Once I decide on what to do with some other areas and finish up what that walkway outside connects to, I'll skybox it and show it off. Give me a bit of time...

Looking good. I take it you're going to make that block of building on the far right look a bit more interesting?

I like that one view of the bridge there...and the lights do look like they have lazors comin out of themz.

Ignore the filename it's an odd little inside-joke that probably only cantina patrons will grasp... anyways.. I'm gonna add a bit more (and work on textures) and then later on this area will get touched up with some terrain once JA is released. Next up is the big courtyard area that has next to nothing done so far.

How... just how do you do it?

You'll be releasing it for the Jedi Academy engine I suppose? Oh and, I don't know about editing much, but what is that "caulk" texture about? Caulk causes unseen surfaces not to be rendered= higher framerate..it's best to start every brush with caulk and later on add the textures (as Gonk clearly does..).. And Gonk; I just can't wait for it now.. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]

gothicx is correct about caulk. (Awaits Emon running in here yelling "IT'S NOT NECESSARY Q3MAP2 blah blah blah" :P) Technically q3map2 has very good unseen surface culling, but I much prefer to build out of caulk regardless. That way I make SURE that unseen surfaces are culled. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

Oh, and yes, this isn't even a consideration for release for JO. :P

Anyone remember that program that would take a Terragen skybox and make a Q3 shader for you, with the correct sun settings? Right now it doesn't look like the sun is coming from the sun.

Holy ****. Those most recent shots kick a heretofore untold amount of *** .

...That having been said, the only thing I might suggest is more panel detail on the exterior of the structure.
A desperate disease requires a dangerous remedy.
