Clearly you're neither correct nor a good speller.

Took you long enough. I was wondering how long I would have to drag this out before the other oldies started showing up. Now all I need is NC and Neb...

Consider that my r_speeds are peaking at around...18000 right now... and that's prior to optimizations. acceptable range is something like 12000 to 17000. It should run just fine. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

17,000? Maybe for mutliplayer Quake III in 1999. Modern computers can easily handle 40,000 or more in singleplayer.

I like how when another person adds onto the facts against your ideas, you tend to talk about something else like when you went off on your spelling, and now off on old timers. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif]

Then what is an average modern computer, Emon? You know there are people who play JO at minimum system specs, right?

I'm talking middle end systems, around 1 GHz, 256 MB of RAM, a 32 or 64 MB video card. If they can't run it, they can always turn the texture setting down to the "Lower than Quake" setting.

Hmmmm . . . I don't know why that 1 GHz figure doesn't fit with my idea of middle end systems. Its nagging at me for some odd reason.

1 GHz is probably more low end. If you think middle range is still 800 MHz, you're behind.

Middle-end is an oxymoron. Mid-range might be the term you're groping for. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

yeh, middle end now is probably 1 GHz, but I simply don't have the money to but a new machine yet, so I';m still running an 800. Suits me fine... but I need more RAM.

and JM managed to slickly escape from the debate... too hot for 'im?

I dunno, the first person I had a fight with on Massassi was Emon... He was nice?

Sorry. That was mean.

I'm not bitter and mean, I just don't like you. But hey, if you want to make the entire community hate you, go right ahead.

I think anyone who would spend time insulting someone else on a Jedi Knight editing website deserves to have his fingers ripped off one by one. Can't type if all you've got are bloody stumps!
