Those of you who have attended the public JKR meeting have all ready seen my concept sketches.... but those of you who "had better things to do", I'll show you one thing you missed:

This is one of my concept sketches for Nar.... I'm making them for all the major sections of the map. I'd like to hear your thoughts, as it's very important to all of us that these maps are accepted by the majority of the community.

PS- I'm not gunna listen to any "the perspective is a little off" remarks. This is a concept sketch... which means if you get the idea, my job is done.

Such craftsmanship! Some of the best sketching I've ever seen. I can't tell if it's pencil or a paint program, though. Either way, it's great!

Beautiful start Xzero, I don't know if it's the grayscale, but that looks like some of the best work I've seen out of you! However, while the buildings look spectacular, the landing pad itself has a sore lack of detail!

I know it's just a WIP, but the landing pad could be made into something so much more! ;)

Yeah, this is from one of my recent levels. I'm practicing to get better so I can get the Cityscape in nar to it's best.

And no it's not greyscale, It is textured... Jed was being stupid when I took the shots :rolleyes:

That's a nice sketch. Very detailed, and that's a pain in the *** to do with 2 point perspective.

I can't believe this is happening! We just celebrated JK's 100th birthday and what do you know.... people are re-inventing Nar Shaddaa levels! hahaha :D

Awesome, I love Nar. And especially when it looks as sexy as this!

What is Xzero making? There's nothing like that in the original Nar Terminal.

Halucid, that drawing in your first post is beautiful for sketch work.

I have always enjoyed drawing. Perhaps I should get a pen and scratch paper and HOP TO IT.

YES!!!!!!!! I always thought that was missing in the level!

Maybe add something like a catwalk and a platform to make the level interesting for saberists too? Or would that ruin the level concept?

The Nar Shadda loading terminal should be adjacent to an area in the first level. That would be neat.

An easter egg, of sorts, you know? Perhaps have a dead rodian and gran strewn about. The part with the funicular and the red room, you know?

I do like the idea of buildings going off from the side of the level itself on the outsode, giving that feeling of being in part of an actual building.

Have ships flying around, and some that just land on platforms for a few mins then take off. Like in KOTOR.

Thats the plan, yes... although most of the ships will zip by as randomly generated "projectiles".
