I'm actually thinking it'll be a little redundant, sadly. I'm trying to make it all stealth, but the only real way to do that in JA is via ductwork and such. I need ideas for different ways to be stealthy. With no force, and only guns.

Maybe you should try using a cloaking mod (like the Imperial Commandos from JA singleplayer). I've seen it done before for MP, so it should be possible in SP as well.

Now I'm no expert on JA's AI... but don't those troopers have a limited field of vision? And if not, you could let them do blatantly obvious routes so that in pure Metal Gear Solid fashion you can nip from one location to the next when they are walking away from you, and with some creative input you could use a low level Jedi mind trick to cause some distraction and then do the aforementioned nipping.

Now if only you had that power you had in MotS that let you leave your body so you could peer around the level to see what could possibly lie ahead. XD

Edit: Oh wait, no Force... erm, ignore the latter half of my post then. <.<;;

Haha, that's awesome. I think I will be using some of Reid's Ideas, but make them more fitting for an Imperial base. Like, less hanging lightbulbs, more futuristic flourescent lamps. I'll think it over, 'kay? ;)

Exactly. I wasn't thinking of having lights on the ground like that, but it looks great in that picture, so sure! Comin' right up. :)

[EDIT: Y'know, one problem with JA is that it doesn't have any light textures that are actually turned off. :(]

The little tram looks so basic right now, but I can't put my finger on it.

Anyway, my plan with that is to have the tram go around on those tracks, and you can hide in it to get places. However, that will be a b**** to script. :(

ATM, however, one can open those small doors on the sides and enter. I'm working on putting more stuff in it and making a place to hide in. Hell, it would be sweet if I could make some sort of crane that lifts the crates in it up while you're hiding there. :D Is this possible?

Wow, people are being extremely helpful on this thread. I mean, I wish I had more people drawing thousands of diagrams for my levels, showing me where I can improve. Consider yourself blessed, Zell! :p

(btw, excellent work so far, it just keeps getting better. To be frank, your weakness seems to lie not in your raw skill but more in your lack of personal creativity.)

Maybe for the tram, if you lowered the sides and put a railing along the edges instead; and a windscreen at the front.

Thanks for the compliments. I do agree my main weakness is lack of imagination, but I can make pretty much anything with GTK once I know what it is in my mind. :D

P.S. Also, Kyle, if I lowered the sides, where would the door go? I will add a windscreen, though. ;)

So hears the deal.

You are a jedi sent to watch over a New Republic base when the soldiers [due to lack of pay etc] MUTINY Now you have to find the Cause of mutiny and make sure that the base is put back in Republic Hands. There No imps at all! I don't think that that has EVER been done before Either! and you can keep the imp stuff and say that it has only recently become under New Republic control.

Sorry, I already had an idea for the level. I'm tired of all the jedi-killing-everyone thing going on in most SP levels, so this one is guns-only, relying on sneaky paths kinda level.

Thanks for the illustration, Reid! :D (I am so spoiled)

[EDIT: BTW, the tram is automated. There's no need for a chair and computer on the tram itself, it would waste space that can be used for cargo. The controls would be next to the track at each station.]

ehh, I'm going to disagree with you on both counts. It's a bad thing when it's overused. That is, in nearly every first map. The temptation to make a green room, a red room, and a blue room is overwhelming.
