If you want to talk about REAL plotholes, did anyone else find it funny that Davy Jones, nothing short of a demi-god of the sea, can teleport from his ship to Jack's after being looked at through a telescope, can hear Will challenge him to a game of dice from the other end of a ship in a torrential storm, and yet can have keys stolen from him while he's asleep on his own ship? That part was hilarious, especially the way the trinket sent him back to sleep, how cliche can you get! :P

finally saw it. I didnt see what whats her name did coming at all.

the movie really leaves you wanting to see the third

anyways I think I enjoyed the first more. but I loved the fight scenes in this one. and various aspects so yeah

its obvious its a set up for the 3rd, so basically the third better be great after this movie. and I didnt think i'd like the voodoo lady but I ended up liking that character

It pissed me off that they only showed his back. They should have ripped the shirt completely off.

And then his pants.

so, anyone else think that the bone-cages being swung aroundby the two crew-halfs was the greatest scene ever? I loved the music to it

It was a very funny scene, especially when the guys scream like little girls when the snake crawls up one fellow's arm - I love the corniness :D

I realized that's why I quite enjoyed the movie now - it doesn't take itself too seriously.

So like, some friends of mine have a theory. Because we know for SURE that the monkey is undead, he must've stolen a piece of the treasure, therefore the curse must've been redone after Will free's it up. Suppose the monkey stole some cursed gold, gave it to Barbossa, and healed him up? With the blood still fresh on the gold, he could've then returned the gold and gone back normal. Then.... THEN.... the monkey could've stolen another bit, like the evil undead thing that it is!

actually, saw about that jsut now (saw Black Pearl on USA). The monkey steals a piece of gold at the end of the credits and turns back to undead, that's why he's still around in the second movie. however, you can't pass the curse on by giving, gold, you have to be the one to remove it from the chest. barbosa was too far, that wasn't how it happened. i'm rather sure Diadora had something to do with him coming back, and sailing to 'the wierd shores' may be more literal then you think. but we'll jsut have to be waiting to see.
