I don't trust you at all because Mr. Fisher fits the description of a ninja pretty much perfectly, unless you watch Naruto.

1) Naruto's definition of Ninja is pretty much its own entity.
2) Fisher's NOT A NINJA. He's just a government agent (and a poser).

Ninjas were hired out by shogunates to do exactly the sort of thing Sam Fisher does. It's not like ninjas killed people just for the hell of it.

I could totally spend my time proving how much better Snake is to any other video game character,

But he does it for me.

No, he means 47.

Only the agency calls him "agent 47", and it isn't part of a title.

It has to be "Agent 47" because that's what everyone else in the REAL world recognizes him as, and 47 is a number.

47, is HIS NAME.

"The man known only as "47" is the main character in the Hitman video game series, of which four games have been released up to date. His name comes from a barcode tattooed on the back of his head (640509-040147), the last two digits are 47."
2006-10-29, 4:56 PM #99
It's also a number, and everybody calls him "Agent 47" in the real world anyways.

Nobody says "Man, that 47 is badass" out of the blue, because people would be like "What the **** is 47?" even if they've played the game.

So the googlefight stands with Agent 47.

Those people, are idiots.

His name is 47.

"Agent 47" is a formality like "Agent Jones," etc.
2006-10-29, 5:12 PM #101
But his identification is Agent 47. No one could identify him as "47." That's like saying "The man named John is badass." You have to give some sort of context. That's why we're not talking about "sam" and "snake"

Read what kirby said.

Then read it again.

Since I know you're just stupid enough for it take take more than that, keep reading until you FINALLY get what he's saying.

And learn when to use commas.

The context is, his name is 47. And we're arguing OVER ****ING GOOGLE FIGHT.

Nobody asked you to get involved. We're arguing over a googlefight of some rather unimportant gaming characters and our opinions thus. It's not exactly as if anyone here (except you it may seem) actually cares about the results :p

the comma in his first sentence was for emphasis. he wrote it like he would have spoken it.

"Those people (pause) are idiots."

there is no grammatical error in the second comma used. he used it properly.

The first one is just stupid IMO, but if that's what it's supposed to be interpreted as...still stupid. But I guess I can't fault him on grammar :p

I don't care, I just found it interesting to point out your lack of google syntax. Were you searching for the character in Hitman, you'd search "Agent 47"

But that isn't his name, is the point.

So obviously you aren't going to recieve nearly enough hits, when for the most part he is refered to as "47."

Agent 47 still whoops them both though.
2006-10-30, 1:24 PM #117
right, the google fight would only be fair with an Agent 47 search, if you did "(rank) Solid Snake" or "(rank) Sam fisher" aginst "Agent 47"
My girlfriend paid a lot of money for that tv; I want to watch ALL OF IT. - JM
2006-10-30, 2:07 PM #118
Well if you're going to search 47 as that's what he's most often called, you need to compare it to "Snake" and "Fisher".
nope.

He doesn't flip out, and he doesn't fight all the time. Snake is much more of a ninja.

47 would win because it's a number. Not the identification of a videogame character. Snake would come in second because it's a basic animal. And fisher would come in third because it's the title of a person who fishes. These are basic googling semantics: If you're going to google fight things, you have to use google semantics. Quotes for multiple words, and full titles/names.
