Wouldn't it be better to unban him? I mean I doubt he'd put much effort trying to get unbanned once he realized he was, especially if he knows everyone thinks he's a thief. If ya unban him ya can at least have the Massassians rip into him in the first thread he posts in upon returning, if he does.

This was my thought as well. I think it would be infinitely more entertaining if he's unbanned and shows his face.

In fairness, if I'd scammed a massassian, I'd expect him to make a thread about it pretty sharpish.

Just to play devil's advocate, was it fair to ban him? (yes, I know he's unbanned now) Is there a rule that says "don't be a gigantic-douche by scamming and ripping off fellow Massassians"?

That's precisely why SA has that rule.

Literally stealing from the members of this site demonstrates his disregard for them specifically and the community in general. More importantly, letting him continue to post here only gives him a future source of ill-gotten revenue. Would it be fair to ban him? Not by the letter of the rules. Would it be fair to the members to leave him unbanned? Absolutely not.

It's purely academic, anyway. He was barely tolerated before. I'm pretty sure he'll die of AIDS alone in a gutter with the rest of the heroin addicts before he thinks it's safe to come back.

well, I am just glad that I am not the only one who had trouble getting along with yoshi.

Though, I realy want to know what happened to checksum, who was the only other massassian that seemed to have a major problem with me.

I was actually going off the SA-Mart rule, that's why I perma-banned him. I can see Spectrael's view of having us endlessly ridicule him. I included a provision to have him explain the situation and if it was legit, I'd unban.
