I was suggesting to ZeqMacaw, that JKHUB should run another level contest the other day, but the idea didnt seem to gain momentum.

Lets have a JK single player level remake contest. We need 19 entrants. You all pick a level and remake it for Jedi Academy. Everybody makes a different level. Go.

1 and 3 are taken.

I actually had to recreate Yoda's House from scratch for the massassi christmas banner I did that featured it. I don't think I got it right though.

Why do we have to do it in JK/JO/JA? It sort of like writing programs for windows 3.1, when the standard is xp. I'd rather use another program, or not even an engine, just modelling application.

Why does it even have to be a level contest? Why not something else? Like who can make the best short film in a week. Or something like that.

How about a cooking contest? The judges will judge who wins by the most delicious looking meal we can prepare. (and then eat)

I still say we should have a film contest. Who can make the best film in one week.

Hey Gold it's probably because this started out as an editing site so that will probably attract more submissions and all that jazz. Plus if you want a film or an MMORPG contest you can always start one yourself. That's my two eurocents!

Also do you want to star in my film Kroko? It's the tragic story of "DJ" Yoshi falling under the influence of crack cocaine and betraying mscbuck, his greatest friend. I had to take some creative liberties with the story though. For example, Wolfy is the detective! You could play him.

I'd probably do a MP level... not near enough experience to do all the scripting and NPC placement for a decent SP level.

How about a puzzle level constest? Something thats not based on adventure/exploring, but on problem solving. COG WRITERS UNITE!

This is actually the best idea so far. A shame only a very few people could participate in that contest.
