The SEC's not even that good. Alabama beat my graduate school because its most important player was injured. Auburn managed a win against my undergrad alma mater after getting completely outplayed. Arkansas was saved from a loss to East ****ing Carolina by the worst kicking of the entire bowl season. The SEC may have been 6-4 in its bowls, but it couldn't have been any closer to going 4-6, even 3-7.
Don't get me wrong, they're a premier conference in college football. They had a good bowl-season, and I'm not saying they're subpar just because they had some close calls. But every SEC fan I've ever spoken to would have you believe that they're so talented and so fast that they might as well be the NFL. That's some bull****, and I'm not putting up with it.
