Well, they have basically lost the ability to appoint their own as "great". People just don't take them serious anymore. This has created a huge opening for people like Breitbart that are committed to exposing those inconvenient truths.

Well, in the abstract sense you could be right. I guess that's up to interpretation. I'm holding to a more literal definition of the word.

Problem with boxer briefs is that they tend to be too heavy and too tight and as a result too warm. I like Hanes' knit boxers. They're quite thin (the newest ones being even thinner) and breath really well. The material is woven in such a way to be slightly elastic, so they never catch or snag. The wasteband is also soft and made of the same material. So far the next best thing I've found to free balling.

Free balling's the best, hands down.

I always referred to the act as "free-balling". This is honestly the first time I have heard it called "commando".

Wookie you spend too much time on the internet searching for dick pictures. Especially for someone that's supposedly heterosexual.

Who the hell cares anyways? Guys and girls send nude pics all the time to each other. Get the **** over it and worry about what the guy does with his political decisions, not his sexual ones. Those are his business and nobody else's.

And I'm fairly certain that I could pick my own dick out of a lineup of 10 people. I'm pretty familiar with my penis, we do after all see each other on a daily basis.
2011-06-09, 9:37 AM #135
Any Republican against gay marriage is almost certainly incredibly gay.

I always think of this line from Generation Kill.

Stafford: Yo reporter, what are you wearing man
Wright: Boxers. Why?
Stafford: It's going to be hot maggot. Me? I'm free-ballin all the way to Baghdad.

Um, it was a news story? One that I waited a few days after breaking to bring up.

Well, the reason that nobody cares is that because the "nobodies" that "don't care" are the guys and girls that are engaging in similar behavior. I take issue with this not being anybody's business except his. A sitting congressman publicly "tweeting" his junk exceeds the realm of his personal business.

Oh, and his political decisions are garbage too. Welcome to the discussion, by the way.

You are correct. Commando used to simply refer to women going without panties. The acceptance of this term for men too is probably a result of the feminization of male America.

Lol, a dude should never respond to allegations of being gay with 'um' followed by a statement stated like a question.

Way to go, buddy! You've joined a very select group of people that have lowered the bar to insulting my family. Gotta love how the anonymity of the internet empowers people to say things that would get them punched in the face in traditional environments.

Weiner sexting (or whatever the appropriate term is for when it's on Twitter) isn't an overbearing concern to me. What does concern me is that he lied about it - he's not even a "family values" whackjob, so it's not like it delegitimizes his platform. It's extremely disappointing that he lied, and I'd honestly like to see him (as well as, well, most of Congress) held accountable for it beyond an ashamed "I'm sorry" press release.

What sort of "traditional environments" are there where punching someone in the face is the ultimate form of conflict resolution? I think the Sons of Anarchy is getting to your head.

Pretty much. Seriously. Insulting someone's children, spouse, or harassing their elderly parents is exactly the sort of thing that deserves a punch in the face. Where one should not only be expected but practically be required. Having said that, I have not had to be a violent person. I've never had to resort to violence to settle a dispute since I was a child. My presence is usually enough to dissuade people from acting badly.

Well, considering one is currently working on her masters and we just just celebrated the (er, um, preschool) graduation of the other, it still seems to be in extremely poor taste. Don't take me in the wrong way. I don't care. Insult me, insult my family, parents, children (all of which has happened to me online)? It doesn't matter. My mom taught me as a young child that when some idiot insults her to me that they don't know her so there's no true basis for the insult. Take issue with me, fine. Insult third parties related to me and you're really just insulting yourself.

Darth_Alran's signature seems oddly appropriate:

Please, don't allow the trolls to make this about me.

I'm not a big fan of Sean Hannity but when I found out Mark Foley was going to be on I had to DVR it. There are obvious connections to the current story and this is the first interview Foley has given in years. I don't know if this link will lead to the full thing but it should be worth a view regardless.

We're not making it about Sean Hannity. You're making it about Glenn Beck by putting that insanity in your sig.

And no Fox News link is worth a read. You still don't understand the definition of an unbiased source.

Anonymity of the internet? Is that why I barely know Emon yet I know his name, what he looks like, and the town he lives in?

There's a subtle difference in the insult. It can be applied just as validly to anyone without kids.

In reality it's more likely that Wookie's kids will rebel against him and turn out to be intelligent gay atheist democrats.
