Looks fantastic. I'd definatly re-install JO to play this. It's the small things like ambient sounds and visuals like the swinging crate that create life and make the gamer feel like they're in a living world.

This entire area is still very much a WIP (everything you see here is the product of about two hours), and the freighter is a placeholder until I get the replacement model (which will be fully detailed) from someone . :)

oh yeah, that walkway extends and retracts, and you can fiddle with it in the control room. Bonus!

Well, the black line is a wire running from the control panel in the bottom control room to the control panel on the top. But you're right, it doesn't look quite right. And the reason the control room looks cavernous is because, well... the original felt quite cavernous to me. :P

Perhaps it looks odd because there are no clips holding it in place? Something like this every meter or so with some small amount of slack in the line to make it seem more cable-like? idk :confused:

I never understood why that room is so big with almost nothing in it, Seems like it's a flight control tower for the gigantic ship nearby, maybe you should put some more people in.

Well, it's just a fancy room where you just have to press a button to activate the lift so I don't think it has to have like 40000 polygons in it anyhow. ... the floor texture should go, though >_>

You could fill in the central space with a typical circular holo-map of Nal Hutta nearby, or of Nar Shadaa. It would be cool and that room would not look as imposing.

The one with the curvy control panel and one guy standing next to it. The control panel and window looks great, but the rest of the room seems all too huge and bland. :(

And the floor texture should be scaled down some. Each of those grooves is about as big as the guy's foot. You wouldn't be able to walk comfortably on it.

what are you talking about zully? I think the glow looks fine. It's a dark alleyway in a city. Lights shining at you from a dark area do, you know, glow. :P
