U'll only see 3 of my first maps , I made more and sended them to massassi , but I never saw one of them on massassi [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif] and I did everything that was needed

I think your best work so far is the duel of faints. That has nice lighting and uses good scripting. Although it's a little to small for dueling.

Think Bigger.

I'll bet your maps will show up on Massassi soon enough. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif] .

I took a little break from the mod today so I don't go code crazy. I'll do some more tommorow [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]

Scripting? I didn't know there was a good scripting program out yet?

I meant like making breakable objects, doors ... Sorry I shouldn't have used "scripting" I should have used "adding functionality".

http://www.solo-clan.net/alien/freyr.zip

The file is a bit bigger than expected cuz , i accidently uploaded the _humanoid.gla and the animation.cfg file with the 3 maps u alrdy played

Well gl with those files [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]
2003-12-15, 9:11 AM #87
Thanks Alienized.

The file is only 8 mb, not that big.

I given thought to this question:

What do we want to name our mod?

Every other mod has some catchy title (JediMod, ForceMod, Masters of the Force).

Alienized, I though of another gametype today. How about we have two teams of players. And we make a map of a fortress or other building. One side will be the defenders and the others attackers. One side wins by killing all of one side off or invading the base. And it would use my bot code so you could fight bots.

Tell me if it is even do able from a mappers point of view? [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

Knights of the Force shall be our name i guess [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif] , ty for the name Echoman

Yeah I think it isn't impossible since JA is on the same engine and has Siege wich is almost same as the new gameplay you want Freyr
But we'll have to grab alot of source code out of JA maybe
2003-12-16, 8:57 AM #93
Knights of the Force sound like a good name. I'll make a nice logo soon. I've been a little busy lately with things slightly more important than the mod, but Christmas break is in 3 days and I expect to FINISH the code in this time.

I hope your exams went well today.

Thanks for sending me the files the other day, It will be harder to important them into the game because Raven decided to use a different skelatal structure on the JA models. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/mad.gif]

The current thing I'm working on is the code for making bots spawn with different weapons.

2003-12-16, 9:37 AM #98
Actually the name of the .pk3 I've been using for my code has been Alienmod.

Is SaberMod taken?

Alienized have you given thought to the Sith skins?

I'm remaking Co-Op map 1
I was stupid 2 days ago [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif]
I formatted my pc , without copying my .map files to somewhere else, well the new map will be in a Temple , and it'll be better than the previous maps [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]
2003-12-19, 8:55 PM #105
Maybe (i said maybe )
We should make our mod for Jedi Academy , Since NPCS are spawnable allready in JA Multiplayer , I said maybe , so I want your opinion Freyr
2003-12-20, 1:43 AM #106
Sorry about your computer. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif]

I've been there before [http://forums.massassi.net/html/rolleyes.gif]

It would be hard for me to mod for JA as I don't have JA and my video card doesn't support it, which means I would have to send the code to you and then you would compile it and load it into JA. It would be a lot of work but you could probally do it.

Also from everyone I've spoken to JA MP NPC's are really, really stupid. They run into walls and just walk around.

Honestly I think a few good JO mods right now may spark some interest in JO. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

So thats my opinion whats yours?

I might get JA for my birthday in Febuary, but I'll just wait.

The NPC's act stupid because there are no bot waypoints.

Bot waypoints?

Shouldn't they be running on NPC waypoints?

Ok we'll stay in JKII [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]
But I dont see stupid NPC's in JA though
If u put GTKradiant on MP editing in JA , you can set NPCS and waypoints

Hmm yeah we'll need a skinner , could you make a thread?
I don't get much time on the PC in the vacations , because of the parties , well i'll try to finish at least 3 maps before New year

Word of advice, don't make a new thread. Instead sign up at the Editors corner and add a message.

Sorry to bring this up late, but there is a game type I heard somewhere in the JO code called Saga. It wasn't implemented much in JO. Basically, the players (I think) have to finish objectives in a matter of time.
