Sure, this thread has reached "tangent" status but for what it's worth, you're always going to get immature teenagers. I guess it's one of those "side-effect things" of puberty. To some, issues like this ("my girl's hotter than...<<etc>>") really matter. For others, myself included, I choose to glaze right over it - I've been there, done that (that "teenage angst" period) and quite frankly, thought it was far too over-rated.

bah, doom is tame compared to modern games like painkiller.

I also think they should have classed doom 2 as an addon pack instead of as a separate game in its own right. Doom 2 is basically little more than regular doom with a better shotgun and some new enemies, plus new maps.
