I'm with Rob here. I hate stupid people. Stupid people should not be able to drive. And here comes the difference. Stupid people can not know how to drive (drive really slow, drive really fast, whatever) and still not cause a hazard. But when you have a smoker trying to light up while driving 75 down the freeway, fiddling around for cigarettes and their lighters, then taking their hands off the wheel to light, that's what is dangerous.

Regarding Kanchi's whole "make a punishment relevant to smoking". You get a speeding ticket, and you go to traffic school. That is relevant to speeding, but does it work? HELL NO! The reason why is because traffic school gives no incentive to stop. When it comes down to "Okay, either drive without smoking, or no driving at all", there suddenly is incentive, choice, and priority.

Personally, I think it's a fairly idiotic way to punish people. Admittedly; if someone breaks the law, they should be punished. Make them pay a fine, force them into a non-smoking program, I'm okay with that.

What I find to be the more awkward thing about this law, is that you pay to get your driver's license. If somebody takes away something that you paid for, over something that really isn't relevant to it, then that's more like a way to pester someone than to actually (and appropriately) punish them.


Not that I'm bothered with it; underage smoking is legal here (unless you smoke pot), it's just illegal for stores to sell tabacco to kids under sixteen.

I know I promised a matrix mod for JK. I'm afraid that the mod will never be released for JK. I've decided to switch to another engine (not a Star Wars game) for making the mod, details on that will be out later, with the release of a demo, but I have some cool screenshots to show.

Massassi mmo, failed, Matrix mod will make up for this.

LOTR mod, never got finished and is very incomplete, no point in pursuing that any further.

I've got many surprises I will release early next year, that won't be animations and static images.
