I just gotta site one of the best things about the massassi forums for me is the simplicity.
Especially now that I am stuck with this extremely sucky wireless connection with a whopping 1 gig limit.
But I have always loved the nice, simple websites that don't go overboard with pictures and flash, wasting time and bandwidth and just being annoying.

Massassi Temple is a Star Wars name. Why would you use it for anything BESIDES Star Wars related stuff? You want anything else besides JK/JK2/JKA related mods or what have you, go somewhere else for it.

The point we're trying to make is that Star Wars game editing (and editing in general) is dead and gone forever, and it was killed by neckbeards who played "JKA" and courtseyed between each duel.

Not that anybody actually played any of the levels people made, or downloaded anything other than the typical CLAN [X] SITH ROBE SKIN or JHS tripe. At least during the height of JK there was something to post on the front page, even if nobody cared.

I don't think anyone really HAS the ability to post anything on the frontpage, from news to maps or whatever. Or, more likely, there is absolutely no incentive to even try (which is understandable at this day and age). I remember when DShettar (or whatever spelling) was the news poster, he just posted random stories about SW gaming. Even if no one cared about them, atleast it was comforting that someone had some control of the frontpage. The SOTD has been broken for 5 months now and cannot be accessed and who knows what is up with the Level of the Week. I'm willing to bet that the final death of Massassi would be when the forums/site goes down due whatever issue and no one really has any drive to fix the problem and get it back up. :v:

tl;dr : no one cares.

Anyone who gives a crap about these forums for anything other than talking **** is someone who edits JK. That means they're someone who is 10 years behind the times and rightfully shpuldn't be deemed as re.levant

I think this sputtered out about 4 minutes after its inception. "MASSASSI 2" has a tendency to do that. This is at the very least the 4th serious attempt at "MASSASSI 2". The first one was by Brian in 2001, the next by Brian again with a fairly robust CMS that actually went somewhere but never to massassi2. I have that one's source on my PC somewhere. The 3rd one is available right here: http://massassi.net/2/
