Anyway, I voted for the Greens on a random call at the last minute, because it made no difference at this point. The Democratic half of this country's single party won this state two weeks ago. In retrospect, I probably should have voted for the Socialists, what with the way people are screeching that word at each other like it's Avada freaking Kedavra or some such nonsense. (And it's been a long time since I did anything even remotely discordian.) Only thing I really cared about were a couple local referenda for health care and school funding. Damn schools need help. It's amazing that I was able to even type out this post, because I can't even read on account of our poor-*** schools.

God DAMN.


Anyway, I'm pleased with the results. Kind of get the idea that this new administration will be one that might actually listen to things we've got to say. (!!!) Now I feel safe in reviving the ancient art of writing to one's government without fear that doing so would be a PROFOUND WASTE OF TIME.

At the very least, it's aeons better than having a fundamentalist lunatic who can't and won't answer a goddamn question properly one step away from the presidency.

One of my friends, Ron (usually my hookup for weed, but also a very good friend, also black) usually says some pretty classic stuff that just refer to has "Vintage Ron", and he basically tagged up the entire election with one of his vintage Ron lines.
