It's recently come to my attention that most Massassians aren't the same 13 year old kids we were 13 years ago. Funny how that works, huh? Anyway, this "revelation" was brought about when I discovered a significant portion of the forum population was married. This has led me to ask: how many others are there?

Poll to follow.

"Nothing serious at the moment" means you're not currently involved with anyone seriously, but you've been actively dating/banging/whatever and aren't socially secluded.

I, unfortunately, had to go with the dork option. I've had some relationships, including one that was fairly serious, but that has been a while ago now, and I haven't been seeing/banging anyone. Of course, living with my parents for 6 months while unemployed has certainly made it impossible to do much, but now that I'll be starting work after the first of the year and getting my own place, I should be able to work on that.

The one good thing about my situation is I can do whatever the hell I want and don't have to worry about someone else's opinion on it. My brother's married, and his wife gives him hell whenever he does something (read: drinking) she doesn't want him doing.

Been dating this girl for a year and a half. She thinks it's pretty serious, I just enjoy the relationship, so I just voted I'm a kid. Probably not going to end well.

I've been in a serious relationship for a few years now. She moved away to do another degree, but we've maintained the long-distance thing and now we're trying to figure out how to get jobs in the same place and move in together.

That's actually where most married couples meet. Met my girl there and we will be married in the next 3-5 years.

I'm definitely in the dork category, although I've had a meaningful relationship in the past. I think a better poll would be: meaningful relationship within the past year vs dork having more than a year since the last meaningful relationship or none at all. Because a year is a seriously long time for a socially competent person to go without making some kind of a serious connection with someone else.

I love the bell-curve we've got going on guys, if ever there was proof needed of the dorkiness here, it's the ability to make a bell-curve out of every poll!

Having said that I think I'm somewhere between serious and nothing-serious. I'm in a long-distance relationship, non-monogamous but very intense. I went with serious because it's definitely more than fooling around.

I've been in relationships for nearly the last 4 years with breaks inbetween of no more than three weeks. three of those years were spent between two ladies, one for a year and the other for 2, and i just started a new one a month or so ago...
