Wow, that picture is scary.
So this thread has gone on quite a bit since my exchange with him, I see. Just skimmed over it. I'll only address this since it actually relates to the topic as well as is meant as another insult.
Many service members that are assigned to South Korea marry women they meet there. Although I've never been stationed there some of the various reasons are well known. Some are guys who never had a piece get their first overseas and become infatuated with some girl who wants to go to America. There are a multitude of other reasons. When I was stationed in Panama I saw the guy meet a girl and get married in three weeks. Dumb. I went out with my wife for a little over a year before getting married. My one year tour was slightly extended due to Desert Storm. I made the choice between the risk of getting married and doing the stereotypical "I'll come back for you" thing. That was 1991. I'm pretty sure I made the right choice.
Oh, she's one quarter Chinese. There is quite a large Chinese population in Panama. Win-win for me. Hispanic and Asian in one package.
And I'll respond to this just simply to state that it is doubtful that I fit many, if any, of the stereotypes anybody here holds me to. Especially some snot nosed kid whose only military experience has been in the industrial-military complex boom of the past few years.
