My goal in this post is to establish all nine champions in the battle with Ungarrant, so that each writer doesn't have to sketch in how his character got there, but rather just plow on into the fighting. That said, I'm trying my best to be as accurate and true to as possible, but that doesn't mean that I'm going to be able to read your minds, so in your subsequent posts, you can correct any gross inaccuracies I've made
The battle between King Ungarrant and Ganelon's nine champions had begun in earnest. Kiyobashi, Bob and Shade were now backed up by every other champion, and they all brought their skills to bear, in a combined attempt to bring down their opponent.

Confident that he had the situation well in hand, Ti-Shen extended his palms, and a fountain of deadly crimson energy, manipulated by mastery of tones, streamed out from them. The blast would have vaporised a normal man.
Ungarrant caught the blast on his sword, deflecting it harmlessly up into the air and turning without a second glance back to the others.
Ti-Shen gritted his teeth in frustration and ran off in another direction, hoping to catch the King by surprise...

Drawing upon the unique magical powers of his race, Yoda007 took careful aim, and launched a deadly glowing fireball at Ungarrant's head. The Dark Lord took the blow square in the face, and took a forced step back, temporarily forgetting the legion of assaults on him by the other champions.
Then, suddenly-violently-he charged up to Yoda007 and swung his sword upward at him. Yoda007 leaped back, but too late. The blow gashed a very deep wound down his chest and torso.
Satisfied that he was dealt with, Ungarrant resumed his duel with the others.
Yoda007, however, knew he was fine.
He summoned his other unique racial trait-that of
healing-and the deep line of red down his body unmade itself, like an eraser rubbing out a pencil marking.
Leaping to his feet, Yoda007 readied another attack...

Icharich had drawn his longsword, and was unleashing a flurry of rapid blows onto Ungarrant's sword, which moved rapidly forward and backward, deflecting every stroke, its speed deceptively good for the sheer huge nature of the weapon.
Finally, the talented champion was bested, and Ungarrant swung upward with all his might, sending Icharich's longsword clattering away.
Ungarrant hovered his blade inches from Icharich's neck, grinning.
"Beaten."
Suddenly, his sword was blasted away, and Ungarrant turned, snarling, to Ford, his pistol barrel smoking. The sharpshooter champion grinned, and pressed his attack, firing more and more rounds at Ungarrant. The Dark King's body shuddered and his armour shrieked as the powerful weaponry found its mark, but Ungarrant himself only laughed.
Finally, Ford's gun was dry, and he took a hesitant step back, as Ungarrant's hands glowed purple, seeming to mold an invisible circular object in the air.
The invisible object soon took physical shape, in the form of a glowing purple ball.
Then, Ungarrant's palms opened, and the purple ball flew toward Ford at the speed of sound, impacting with his chest and sending him flying several dozen feet backward, landing in a cloud of dust.
Ungarrant's attention turned back to Icharich-
The champion had already backflipped several times, and with deliberate precision, snatched his longsword off the ground, glaring at his foe.
With a dismissive grunt, Ungarrant turned back to the other warriors.

Eluidath had found himself in a disagreeable situation. He had so far been able to do battle with his foes in hand-to-hand combat, and win with ease.
However, with Ungarrant's scaly armour and swift sword, he wasn't sure he wished to get
that close. His aged mind searched for another way to defeat the Dark King, and he soon found it.
Lifting a poleaxe from the corpse it was attached to, Eluidath ran nimbly toward the rapidly-shifting form of Ungarrant, digging the shaft of the weapon into the ground and pushing himself up into the air with all his might, his bare foot outstretched in a lethally-strong flying kick.
The blow struck its mark, and the noise it produced was akin to a heavy crate dropping from the top of a skyscraper. Visibly stunned, Ungarrant was still fast enough to grab Eluidath by the leg as he fell back to the ground, holding him upside down.
Eluidath glared at the Dark King's inverse leer.
"How obliging of you."
Then suddenly, he drew Eluidath back and tossed him, with supernatural ease, at Kiyobashi. The two of them collided and went tumbling across the war-torn battlefield.
Kiyobashi growled as they struggled to their feet. "No time for games, old man! This is serious!"
For his part, Eluidath just sighed.

This actually takes quite a bit of backtracking and research to make sure I'm factually correct, so if the 3 remaining champions want to post their individual sections, you have today and maybe tomorrow to do so. Otherwise, the show must go on
