There's a 50% chance Ed Reed or Ray Lewis will stab Brady on the field.

The best part about Ed Reed is he is completely indistinguishable from the homeless guy that takes a crap in my alley.

I knew the patriots probably wouldn't make it far in the playoffs, but this is just ****ing sad.

Ravens are equally trying to lose the game as well.

And apparently I was wrong about the seeding. Ravens are 6th and Jets are 5th. This does not please me. In fact, this scares me. The Jets are getting hot and have a decent running game. I'd rather play a beat up Patriots.

Yeah, I thought Ravens were 5 seed as well. That's what the TV guy said they'd be 5th seed during the Raiders game last week.

I found out last night that they were 6 seed, which means the AFC championship would be in NY if the Jets and Ravens win out.

There is still hope for The Rematch in the AFCCG. Not an impossible feat to accomplish.

I don't know. The Jets are on fire right now. The AFC games are going to be nuts though.

That's what scares me. The Jets are on fire.

However, I have to say Rivers > Sanchez and we have more offensive weapons than they do. Their defense though, that'll be the challenge.

If you guys win today, the Colts won't be a pushover as well.

Aaron Rodgers fail.

2010-01-10, 5:06 PM #391
Unfortunatley I was on a train and didnt get to see all the game, but man what a game that was.

I knew from the outset that playing the Cardinals two weeks in a row (and to an extent the cardinals playing us two weeks in a row) was gonna result in a drastically different game from last week. Kurt Warner I think really solidified his spot as a HOF QB this game. Can't ask for much better performance than that.

Sad that the Packers didn't make it of course (no Vikes vs. Pack, damnit!), but an ESPN instant classic game regardless.

I think it's a bit unfair to call his game "fail" (unless you are referring to that play alone). Bad play for sure though, still needs to learn to sense that pressure. But I think there is another side of the field that the Packers need to be worrying about than their 5 Touchdown QB.

Highest scoring game of post-season football in history right there. Amazing game of football, despite the complete lack of any defense from either side.

Except, ironically, for the last play in overtime, when the defense uhm... took a kickoff from the quarterback. I wouldn't so much call it a fumble as it never hit the ground, haha. It went out of the hands, and the quarterback, trying to catch it again, kicks it, and a defense player grabs it.
2010-01-10, 5:12 PM #393
Rodgers saw that 3rd down wasnt workin out, so he skipped straight to 4th down and tried to punt. A flawed plan clearly.

The (epic) fail is the Green Bay Offensive Line. And you know what? That was the deciding factor in me picking the Cardinals. I knew that Green Bay's O-Line would fail Rodgers miserably and that forced fumble for the touchdown proved it in spades. I've seen defense shred apart GB's O-Line. Y'all need some help in that department.

Which is why this game doesn't matter. Drew Brees is going to go all kinds of Drew Brees all over the Cardinals next week, and they'll be left in the dust.
