Wow.

Patriots epically blow it.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

Oh I do not doubt the resiliancy of the Colts to come back. But damn leading by 17 at one point then blowing that...

Also 4th & 2

Eh, they've blown it worse. The patriots led the colts by 18 in the AFC championship a few years ago.

And Bengals beat the Steelers. Am I... can I actually get excited about the Bengals this year? I've been burned so many times, but they just keep delivering!
2009-11-16, 9:53 AM #213
I think you can get excited. I'd say the Bengals are headed toward the AFC Championship. I don't see anyone stopping them.

Yeah...and there's this one time where they were almost undefeated...

I was referring to vs. the colts specifically.

I hate the Pats and I'm glad they missed the conversion, but the call was correct.

The risk was too great esp. with someone like Peyton. They should have punted and trusted the defense to stop Peyton. They have been doing it all night!

That's what I thought at first, but the numbers don't bear it out. Advanced NFL Stats has a good explanation. That Manning's better in these situations than any other quarterback only strengthens the argument.

Playing the odds is Belichick's M.O., and it's helped him become incredibly successful.

I picked Cleveland as my "homer" pick. For a while, it looked like it was coming through. But alas. :(

The Jaguars won again. Can anyone tell me why a team would sign Terrell Owens?
2009-11-22, 7:00 PM #231
On a side note: Every team in the AFC North lost this week. 3 of them to teams with 2 wins or less.

I mean come the F*** on.

Sure you could. The Bears could be over .500. :P

Because he had 197 yards and a touchdown this week, and hasn't caused any serious trouble for his team in a long time?

Luckiest break of the year: We kept Chicago's first-rounder and traded ours to Seattle.

I'd still take Cutler back in a heartbeat. At Matt Forte's current level of uselessness, Chicago would probably be winless with Orton.

Truth. Also, I was kind of disappointed to see the Colts once again come back from behind to win. I was hoping to see Houston break their perfect season. Lord knows the Pats won't do it to the Saints tomorrow night. :carl:
