That's generally incorrect but pretty much how it is portrayed. There are some issues with it, of course being provided by the government and all to a large and ever growing population, but certainly not to the level to be considered horrible.

Now Spook may be correct that his health care is currently unaffected because he is on active duty. Once he gets out, though, he may see errosion to his benefits due to the funding to his provider being lowered, depending upon his status and whether we're talking VA cuts or Tricare cuts.

Fact of the matter is, Matty, americans DID do nothing. Case in point, Bush was re-elected for a second term.

Supposedly (who on earth really knows, with how long this thing is) Tricare is unaffected, as are VA services.

Actually, what Spook said was that now they need to sink military health care. In other words, mess it up too.

Try having migraines so bad you throw up literally every 10 minutes, for roughly 3 to 4 hours STRAIGHT, not even able to keep medication down since you throw up so fast and so much. Over a period of the years that you've had the condition the acid that's constantly being thrown up from them has actually completely obliterated your lower esophageal muscle allowing food that you eat to constantly travel back up the back of your throat, waking up in the middle of night choking on what you ate for dinner. Not to mention feeling short of breath constantly as well as being woken up from it on a regular basis, to the point where you get maybe 3 hours maximum sleep every few days.
