Found Sheer Mag yesterday, they're opening for some heavier punk band on Friday around here. I saw Show Me the Body last night so I think I'm good on heavy shows for a while, unfortunately

I don't really "listen" to this with any frequency, but I play it whenever I'm preparing Italian food (such as this evening with our gnocchi alla sorrentina). My kids hear it and say "yay daddy is making spaghetti!"

Yeeeah! I've been listening to all of the new Kanye-produced albums none stop since they've been released. I like the Pusha T album (also, Kids See Ghosts and ye. Actually, the Nas album is probably the one I'm least excited about at the moment).

i was underwhelmed by ye, but there were a few tracks from Kids See Ghosts that reminded me of A Kid Named Cudi/first Man On the Moon, and I really liked that. still haven't listened to the new Pusha T

i did listen to Year of the Snitch yesterday and was pretty disappointed. It was certainly weird instrumentally, but it wasn't as aggressive/distorted as my favorite parts of Death Grips' works (Ex-Military and The Money Store) and MC Ride felt less energetic than I prefer. I should probably listen to it again though

If you've got an ear, you'll recognize this last one samples hank crawford, which a ****ty 2pac song tried to replicate and sucks

also this r.e.m. related podcast is very stupid, but so stupid it's actually kind of funny. It's not bad if you want something to listen to while you do monotonous tasks https://www.earwolf.com/episode/murmur/

Looking back, my musical tastes from the past year have been pretty thoroughly shaped by Eversor's suggestion that I listen to Murmur, and I still listen to it all the time.
