You enter the FIRETRUCK and use turn the keys, the engine roars to life and then promptly stops. Upon further inspection it appears to be out of gas.

The EMPTY GAS CAN does nothing when you bang it against the truck a few times.
You go to walk back to the BARN, along the way a helicopter approaches from the south, as it get's closer you notice it's bristling with guns, rockets, and more guns.
You see it's cannon light up, feel the ground beneath you feet raise up, and then darkness.
You are now back at the FIRE TRUCK.
(There are unexplored areas in the town )

If inside: look outside to see if HELICOPTER is still around.

If out in the open: travel to BARN, open gas tank on JEEP. SMELL for GAS.

You exit to the TOWN, the places you have yet to explore; inside of the FIRESTATION, RCMP Station, Town Hall. The plane is just going over the horizon when you leave.

You wave at the plane, it's gone now over the horizon. You feel lonely.
You walk over to and look over the RCMP STATION, the front door has been blown in and lies on the floor of the lobby, the windows are broken. There are scattered bullet holes on the wall and a stain on the ground. There's a SQUAD CAR out front but it looks damaged beyond all repair and covered in bullet holes.

You check the SQUAD CAR to see if it has any gas, smells like there is a little and you get under the car to open a hole and drain it, but there's already a bullet hole there. All the gas must have drained out long ago.
The stain is kind of reddish, it's probably the result of somebody meeting their maker.

You take a look inside the squad car. Inside is a radio that's been shot to hell, a HANDGUN and some BULLETS, and more FLARES. While looking you also find a note:
"155.3 Khz"
The HANDGUN is an ancient looking 6 shot service sidearm that's probably older then you.
There's a humming noise coming far off in the distance, it's slowly getting louder.

You move to the FIREHOUSE roof, and tune the RADIO to 155.3.
There's static for around a minute, and then a voice comes through- "EM Actual this is Blackbird One, Coming in on the sighting, request instructions, over." "Blackbird One this is EM Actual, sanitize the area we can't take any chances of anything getting out of there, confirm copy, over." "Roger EM Actual, cleaning the area."
The humming is getting louder.
There is a massive tremor and you are knocked off your feet, when you regain your senses you look around and the chasm is now gone, along with the POLICESTATION and the other half of the town.
The radio sounds off again- "EM Actual, massive event near sighting area, looks like a big one, over" "Roger, We'll get a team down there to re-map, continue with mission, over."

(I don't take anything automatically unless it's a note or otherwise weightless.)
The SQUAD CAR is across the road from you, somehow having not been taken with the station. from your estimation the incoming helicopter is about ten minutes away, so you go over there and grab the HANDGUN + Bullets, the HANDGUN has is fully loaded and there are 20 extra bullets. Looking at the horizon you still don't see the helicopter, but you can tell it's getting closer from the south. You look around for places to hide, the FIRESTATION is a potential choice, but that's where the radio is and thus probably where they will look first, you still haven't tried the TOWN HALL.

You examine the HANDGUN but you don't have enough experience to discern it's model.
(It's just a gun okay, comeon don't make me research this :argh:)
You get to the town hall and find the front doors have been blown inward, the lobby is covered in bullet holes. There's a DESK, a STAIRWAY behind the desk that splits to a second leaving running the perimeter of the room with a railing. You can see 3 rooms upstairs but can't make out the signs on them from this distance.
On the first floor is a small closet and another exit across the room.
Looking behind you the humming has gotten much louder.

PUSH DESK AGAINST DOOR.
CHECK EXIT ACROSS THE ROOM.
TAKE HANDGUN OFF SAFETY.

[it's a Police six shooter, so I guess the handgun is a revolver?]

EXAMINE DESK for notes or stuff in drawers. [if it is a police six shooter then it would be either a 10mm, 9mm, 45 acp or 38special depending on the nationality. Could damage most vehicles somewhat unless they were armored in any way shape or form.] LOOK inside CLOSET. READ signs.

The PC doesn't know enough about guns to discern anything else then the basic workings of it, it's a gun with bullets and not likely to take down a helicopter. If you really must have some more info it's a 6 shot revolver from... lets say before the turn of the century. Not gonna take down a helicopter. Anyway, back to the game:
Looking at the HANDGUN again you don't think it has a safety, removing a bullet and pulling the trigger you get a click, you put the bullet back in.
You search the DESK, finding nothing of any major value. The secretary was named Susan and really liked Cosmopolitan though. You think of using it to block the doors, but remember that they have been blown inward. The humming sound is getting very loud and you notice it seems to moving around the town now.
