So I have also been in the Star Wars The Clone Wars mode lately. It's funny because I have tried to start it several times over the years but now is perfect as the whole thing is there for viewing now. I actually remember that at some point Netflix was labeling it as a Netflix Original. I don't know if they actually had a hand in producing any episodes but that label eventually disappeared and now, of course, they are all on Disney Plus.

I have been attempting to go through them all in the official chronological order that was recently released now that they are complete. Really convoluted how much the episodes jump around from season to season I think all the way up to the fifth season before you can just let them go in order. Going through them in the correct order, though, actually helps connect some story arcs and make them a bit more memorable.

I think Brian had some comments about how dark the show was and I think that's certainly true. In many ways many of the episodes have more adult themes than the films they're based on. I also have to say that I think the show in general ranks better than many of the core cinematic releases.

An excellent documentary I discovered the other night is The Last Narc on Prime. There are four our five episodes, it can be done in 1-3 days depending on your workload.

If you're worried about it have a pro-America War on Drugs vibe it is not that sort of show. You could say the opposite. It's not really a spoiler to say that the show is about the kidnapping, torture, and murder of a DEA agent in Mexico.

Definitely worth a watch.

Been working my way through DS9. I imagine I've seen most of these episodes before but many seemed new to me. Regardless, the series overall seems to be the best out of all of them.

Most of the way through the sixth season and I still say this is probably the best Star Trek TV show.

On a television related note I am revisiting my blu-ray ripping. Although it's been a long time since I ripped any discs, I use MakeMKV which very quickly produces a full quality large file but I always knew I'd want to dig in with Handbrake and reduce the filesize. I found some settings online and produced a nice file in about 15 hours. Then I started looking at what I could do if I used hardware encoding and produced a nice file as well but it was about 2gb larger and took about 15 minutes to complete. I changed my audio settings and got smaller files in about 20 minutes. Amazing. I was single digits fps conversion to about 200 fps.
