I bought Absolution yesterday, each time I listen to it I love it more and more. The first 4 tracks (Apocalypse Please, Time is Running Out, Sing for Absolution, and Stockholm Syndrome) are absolutely electric. Also, is that the lead singer playing the piano? Cos the solo in Butterflies and Hurricanes is pretty darn impressive.

Really? Super-cool points to whoever bought you that! It is my favorite all-around album I own. Sad thing is, Come Around, Made It Fine, and Overkill are all scratched on my CD from I guess constant use, wear and tear, and when I copied em to my iPod they got copied wrong so the iPod data has the scratches in it.

Yup. In the extras disc (I got the special edition Absolution CD for my birthday) it shows footage of Mark (lead singer) playing in recording studios for the album. Did anyone else catch them live on the Brit Awards a few days ago?

Ya... Spork, I'd be surprised if you could find their CDs where you are, I'm quite surprised Morg got it in Oregon. They're pretty much an independent underground Southeastern United States thing, like existing on the verge of breakthrough popularity for their entire career, all the bands that have opened for them have gotten big ~ Guster, Howie Day to name a few...
