When did it come out in Aussieland?

It came out and I got it yesterday, and I noticed that Black Holes came out that day here aswell. Didn't have the fund to get them both, sadly. Will be my next buy.

It pretty electronic, but much more beautiful than I thought, I expected it to be more grundgy.

In a few aspect. I mean they are both his voice and lyrics. The music is much more electronic, and has a more claustrophobic feeling than most Radiohead music. Thom's voice is very clear, which is pretty cool considering he usually tries to hide it behind music or distortion.

I mean, a lot of Radiohead fans didn't like the album that much, so it is possible that a non-Radiohead fan may like it a lot. Maybe you could "aquire" a few songs off of the album to see if you like them. Like Analyze, or Harrowdown Hill.

I would personally buy it again just hear him hum on The Clock. :P

Yeah they came out on the same day here as well, last Saturday (the 8th). Managed to find time to listen to The Eraser at work today, and yeah, it is quite unlike Radiohead. The closest album you could liken it to is Amnesiac. The music is very electronic. Also, Thom has an amazing voice.

As for Muse's new album, I honestly couldnt like Black Holes and Revelations much more. It is quite possibly my favourite album of all-time.

Muse - Glorious

iTunes sucks for making this song an album-only download, and Muse sucks for not putting it on the retail version. Fortunately, I've found a high-quality stream of it that I can just add in iTunes. Good song though.

I'm going to have to get it then. (Must trust in your taste :P) I was very very impressed by the few songs that I heard. Next time I get some money it will be my first buy. And yeah, best part of the Eraser is his voice. It sounds amazing when he doesn't try to hide it.

I hope you like it! Opinion seems rather divided amongst my friends, most of us love it but a couple seem to think it's worse than rabies.
