I found out something sad today. :(
Johnny Marr played guitar on a few songs on Oasis's album Heathen Chemistry.
It's sad that he's hanging out with a crappy band like Oasis. That's just so wrong. That would be like if Iggy Pop was hanging out with Jet, or the guys from Ministry hanging out with Trent Reznor, or the guys from Bauhaus hanging out with Korn, or The Beatles hanging out with N*Sync.

It's possible, but it's not like they were on the same scene or anything. It's true that they're from the same town, but The Smiths played for a vastly different crowd.
Johnny Marr did do some awesome collaborations though, like with Bernard Sumner from New Order and also Matt Johnson from The The.

I will give you this: Oasis's stuff is way better than Johnny Marr and the Healers' album.

Hey, Oasis fans, what do you think of the guitar playing in the Oasis songs "(Probably) All In The Mind" and "Born On A Different Cloud"? Those are the ones that Marr plays on.

there were loads of huge bands in the 90s apart from oasis... bands like faith no more, smashing pumpkins, radiohead, red hot chili peppers, green day, blur (dare i mention them in an oasis reference?!?!) dont forget the spice girls either :p.
