Bleh, Spork, that was the first song I heard by them. Bought the CD (Magazine) the next day, then bought their 2nd CD (Vertigo) the next day, then bought their Early Years Vol I. a week later...

My current favorite song by them is unreleased *album comes out April 20th* but it's called The Dim and the Dark. (Album is actually titled Between the Dim and the Dark) AND I'm going to their concert next Friday in Athens (GA, USA [where REM's from])

um... that's hard to say. They're different. But from what I've seen that you like, you'd probably like them. They're kind of like REM meets Radiohead. The singer is amazing.

Early Years Vol. I (2 CDs):
Licorice Tea Demos - Folk/Irish Rock
Buzz - Alternative, REM-ish (recorded live in Athens)

Magazine: 90s Rock, Cathedrals is on this one

Vertigo: Alternative, but it has a different feel to it and is quite possibly the best album I've ever bought.

Between the Dim and the Dark: unreleased, but from what I've heard it's an extension of Vertigo but with darker melodies and heavier.

Basically they're an independent band so you wont be able to find their CDs very easily. Best place to go is www.jumplittlechildren.com and under the menu click on music and listen to the samplers from each CD.

If you can, download Say Goodnight, Vertigo, and Mothers Eyes.

but yes....

The Beatles - Lovely Rita
