Halo's only problem is the endless levels through repeating areas. And then making you do it all over again, backwards. I don't even shoot anything in those levels. I just run. :/

I really like the belt but I'm confused about what the blue thing under it. I assume its the model you want to showcase. :)

Indeed. In most cases, it can be done in one, assuming the enemy has already sustained some damage. A successful bryar snipe is so satisfying.

It's something from Xzero's Dead Cell level, not for JKE.

Just make sure the Thermals ACT like Thermals. They're supposed to be MASSIVE grenades, right? I've despised that about every JK game. The explosion is wimpy, and the grenade is supposed to pack a big punch.

Found the Assualt Rifle more satisfying anyway. Multiplayer is a different story. I'll use it pretty frequently there.

The key to Halo 2's Magnum is to choose your shots. It'll still take down Flood in one hit, and it's still a pretty good weapon. Ammo is just scarce in the campaign. Pair it with a Plasma Pistol and you might as well be using the old Halo version.

Agreed. As I recall, 2 of those things took down Xizor's palace (to this day, i never figured out why LEC put thermal-dets in their games instead of some other type of anti-infantry grenade... or at least another kind of thermal det).

There are different levels of power for TD's. I think it's something like A to E?

It would make sense. But you'd think that the various power-level models would also look different from one another (so that people wouldn't believe that their carrying a low-yield charge when in fact they've got enough explosive to level a city block).

Ya'll can agree to TD power or whatever, but it still won't make JKE anything but models. :p

If you want to pester someone about JK Weapons, uh, pester me? I'd like for JK Tactical Assault to have JK Weapons, but, uh, revamped. ;)

At the very least, I'd like to finish off the civillian models and the ammo powerups. There're also some MP skins left.. But after the last 3 models, I've gone beyond the limit. Certain single player levels won't even load any more :(

Assuming one of the lovely coders can break the resource limit, what are the chances of the other enemies being remodelled? Like Mynocks, those red fishy things, the AT STs etc.

doesnt look like his body/head is a perfect circle... more like the kind of cylinder GtkRadiant makes (kinda squished near the edges). i think the mesh needs some overall tweaking because the legs are too fat as well, and those tubes look really huge (not that it's that big of a deal) but the legs are noticable.

i love the textures on it, it's just the model itself is off in a lot of places.

As for your res2.gob problem, you can always do with TDiR did and replace the res2.gob, removing or replacing resources that your mod doesn't need from the original GOB.

It's like using Elvis is the old Perfect Dark for N64. It's just fun to own someone with a little short dude. Oh yeah, and try to get rid of th footstep sound in that model, and replace it with the sound of R2s wheels rolling.

That image isn't accurate in any way shape or form. Trace the picture to the website it came off of and you'll find out why. BTW, I have that image on my hard drive when I was researching it. ;)

Some info on the model (for those that are interested):
I used an authentic schematic (or so it was said to be) that I found on the web somewhere. I used a ton of reference images (including shots of the R2 units in SWG). AND I used the original r2 unit from the game to match of the proportions. The idea was for someone to be able to take the model and let it be an exact replacement for the r2 that was already in-game. Is it perfect? Not at all, but I think within the constraints I was working with and the way Shred brought it into the game, it serves it's purpose 'well enough.'

Shred add the center leg (that I was too lazy to do). I'm not sure if he did anything else (architectually) to the model (other then the arms). I will say it's missing some extra detail that I didn't feel like putting into it (specifically on the legs, but also on the head unit as well). He did a fantastic job with the textures and I'm very happy that he got it working in-game. :D
