I don't know what else to say. I was trying to be nice. The mesh isn't "dented" in where the head meets the body. I'm guessing that was a texturing mishap unless shred messed with the mesh in that area (I seriously doubt he did). The tubes are slightly larger then they should be (in thickness). And for Cazor's other complaint, the legs, are only as "beefy" as the r2 units seen in the movies. TheJkWhoSaysNi posted a very inaccurate shot, one that I assume Cazor was basing his complaint off of...

I think most people would agree that it serves it's purpose well as a model. It's an improvement over the original model we got in 1997. Could it be more detailed? Sure. But personally, I don't think it's necessary. Shred's textures make up for the model's detail short commings, IMHO. That's all I have to say on the subject.

The legs are definatly too wide and the 'head' is too flat heres a shot from ESB:

Yea the proportions seem to be off. It seems a little squashed to me.

BTW- "Good enough" shouldnt be your reply. Take into account what people say and try tweaking the model a little bit, it will help a ton.

no, about every reference i saw shows that the legs arent scaled propery. and i didnt say it was dented where anything meets anything. i said that it looks like if you were to look at it from a top view, it would look like the circle was squished.

a better explanation of my GtkRadiant reference from before:

the head isnt domed high enough at all, as well. that might be whats setting it off for me. if the model is in fact a perfect circle from the top view, i dont know whats making me think it isnt, it just looks wrong and bothers me. heh.

Okay, I see what you mean now. A bit of oversight on my part I guess. I appologize. I've made some updates. Let me know what you guys think before I send it off to Shred (note, just because I'm updating it doesn't mean Shred will use it).

There's a few details on the front that may make sense to model. Also, the texture needs a few ridges and whatnot around the legs and such.
