i've got a very cool kraft peanut butter jar in the shape of one of the kraft bears. i'n gonna make a cool bong out of it.

here's an idea. fill your bong with different liquids. apple juice, sour puss, tequilla... try a bunch of things. always add ice to cool it and smooth it out.

There's a myth I'll debunk right here. Using warm liquids actually smooths the smoke more than cold liquids.

1.) THC is soluble in alcohol so if you use alcohol in a bong it will decrease the potency.

2.) Zuljin you are right about the warm/cold water thing. Cold water makes the smoke cold which is more uncomfortable for your lungs since it is not a natural temperature for them, while heat is.

When I smoke bongs I actually cough up the resin, brown stuff a little bit. I was thinking it was because I was a regular runner, that my lungs or throat would be getting rid of the resin since it was more active, but a couple of my friends have also experienced it (however rarely), compared to me (all the time).

I don't see how any type of liquid could make you higher in a bong.. Since you're not ingesting/inhaling/doing anything, with that liquid. The only thing that anything actually does for you, is what's been pointed out, warmth making the tokes smoother.

I agree, I think anyone who is going to get into the harder stuff is going to do it regardless, for the most part, marijuana seems to be a severely chilling drug, (Stimulant or depressant? depressant probably, or hallucinogen?) which wouldn't really lead to coke or anything unless they were already of the disposition to take it. Most people I know who smoke up would never dream of touching hard drugs

If you consider the fact that most people who smoked Marijuana began smoking cigarettes, then by the logic of someone saying "marijuana is a gateway drug to other harder drugs", then you could say that "cigarette's are a gateway drug to Marijuana"... Or "Cigarettes are gateway to alcohol" or "Alcohol is a gateway drug to Marijuana". But yeah, what you said is right. If they've already got a predisposition or interest in trying a harder drug, it doesnt matter if they sniff glue or smoke weed first, it's going to happen.



DEFINATELY not depressant. And not a hallucinogen. Like I pointed out before, you don't really hallucinate. If you're really, really really really stoned, you'll rarely experience something like you would see something quickly out of the corner of your eye. Like when you're sitting watching intently on TV and you think a shadow or something moves in the corner of your eye. You don't see an actual shadow, but you know what I'm talking about I'm sure.

I'd have to say it's a stimulant. But I'd believe that even that itself is a stretch. A lot of people who after smoking weed, just feel like laying back, listening to music, or just plain enjoying the high. They'll just want to watch tv and laugh, talk with their friends, eat (most likely :p ) or do something they would normally do. It varies really from person to person, and most especially weed bud to weed bud.

That's why I say it's a depressant... If it makes you wanna chill it's a depressant, doesn't necessarily depress you.

......explain. When I was in high school they had the "drug" class, and they told us that alcohol is a depressant because it can sometimes make the consumer depressed. Which is why sometimes you'll see drunk people go off emotionally and just cry about their problems, even if slight or large.

Dont put ice in the bong water, i had a bong and it spiraled. you oput ice down that and it stayed, you can take bigger, better hits, and never cough. if you cool the smoke than it does go in easier. you dont know what your talking about people.

In response to your example of abortion: I personally believe in abortion being legalized, but I believe Roe v. Wade ought not to have made that decision. In both cases, the government ought not to regulate that area, and leave it up to the states. The very last question you ask is how could a Supreme Court Justice justify this. Activist judges can find some pretty good obscure justifications. In Roe v. Wade, the justification was privacy.

I'm getting pretty off topic. From what I understand, the ruling was the Federal government has no right to prosecute people for marijuana use which does not involve transportation against state lines. What's really at stake here is a state rights issue. Marijuana is not explicitly banned or allowed in the Constitution. It's less finding something in the Constitution regarding Marijuana than it is an issue of reducing the role the Federal Government is playing.
