Yoda means business.

A short clip, but awesome nonetheless.

Some pre-production charredness.

Emperor Palpatine in his freakyass makeup. This is when he initially changes when using the darkside.

Episode III Trivial Pursuit - Videos.

Here is a LOT of clips from the Star Wars Trivial Pursuit game that I gathered from MF.com and uploaded. I don't know how to make torrents work properly, but if someone could make them for this zip file it would probably work out better.

Palpatine sounds like Hitler in the Empire clip.

Edit:

Obi-Wan clip.

Yoda, Bail and Obi-Wan on the Tantive IV discussing the change of the beacons telling Jedi to come home.... and be slaughtered...

Also, just a little tidbit, currently Episode 3's length is about 2hr 35min according to the 'Making Of...' chapter on the OS for HS members. That would make it the longest Star Wars film to date, whether it will be trimmed more is yet to be seen.

Good to see a medical droid from the Original Trilogy there... good for continuity.

Does Anakin remind anyone else of that crispy Sith Lord in KotORII?

Here's official TV spots for the movie. These rock, and one of them contains new music for the movie.

The more video clips I see of Episode III, the more I get saddened that it looks like George Lucas is still writing his ridiculously bland dialogue from the last two movies...I mean that "Anakin, you're breaking my heart" line is especially cheesy. I mean, ever heard of subtelty? George Lucas keeps thinking that unless he writes what his charaters are feeling, no one will get it...jeez...

The new Star Wars Miniatures set, RotS, releases today. Pretty sure every single figure is seen in the movie at some point (not so sure about the common ones).

Set list and image gallery.

yeah, but that's nowhere near as bad as "are you an angel?" , "yipee!" and anakin's sand monologue in AotC ;)

Someone had posted to change Obi-Wan out with Padme in that picture. I was merely saying that. They went back and deleted it.

It seems that they sort of forgot which side Anakin's scar is on.

Something has been in my head these past few weeks. If Yoda goes to fight Palpatine when Obi-Wan goes to fight Anakin (from what I've gathered this happens around the same time), why doesn't Yoda and Obi-Wan go fight Palpatine, then find Anakin to fight him?

Think about it, if Palpatine took down 4 Jedi, only to be put on his knees by Windu (I wonder if he fakes it, or if he actually does get defeated by Windu), what makes everyone think Yoda would fare better by himself? They could of defeated Palpatine, then gone and found Anakin and defeat him.
I can't think of anything to put here right now.

Perhaps, but that would kind of screw with ep. IV-VI. ;)

There was reasoning in the book for this choice. Obi-wan faced almost certain death in facing Darth Sidious, even if Yoda was with him. Rather than have Obi-wan certainly die, they divided their efforts. Yoda claims to be a better solo combatant anyway, so essentially they played to their strengths.

Besides, Anakin was finished with his business on Mustafar when Obi-wan showed up. If Obi-wan and Yoda had faced Sidious together and failed, they would have missed their chance to destroy anakin, seeing as anakin would return to coruscant.

Scenes in trailers are flipped all the time. The same shot has been in the other trailers not flipped as well.

It wouldn't surprise me if it were an in-joke for the fans. How many flipped shots have we seen over the course of five films?

The one that's always bothered me is the one of Boba Fett in RotJ. They didn't even fix it for the Special Edition/DVD. How hard must it be to flip one shot from left to right?

Film flips are all over the place. Rank plates are on the wrong side, Threepio's silver leg is on the wrong side, Artoo, Han, Luke, Han again, Artoo, etc. It's pretty common.

At the start of ESB the same shot of Leia is shown twice, once correct, and once flipped.

Yummy pictures. Poor yoda.

I never understood why everyone was so suprised when Yoda was starting to fight in episode II. Don't you guys remeber that one of the seven dark jedi, Pic, in DF II, did the same? Or is it just me?
2005-04-07, 7:47 PM #597
Yeah and Kyle Katarn somehow becomes a Jedi without anyone in his bloodline being one. His dad's FRIEND was a Jedi.

I wouldn't really count alot of DF games as canon.

? I thought Katarn's father was a Jedi? The lightsaber is just from Ryan?

right?

Is that the same explanation given to why Mace and the other Jedi didn't wait for Yoda when they went and confronted Palpatine?

His father wasn't a Jedi. He had the "potential" but never used it.
